It’s my third baby, I’m 38 weeks + 5. Had sweep today at 9ish 2cm dilated, cervix soft and MW could feel baby head. Just had show. Done back pain and cramps but nothing regular yet. Babysitter on standby!!!

Sweep went well. Cervix mid, soft consistency, 1cm in length, 2-3 cm dilated, station -2. She was able to stretch me to 7cm so fingers crossed. X

I'm down for a manual induction too.

I had my little boy last night! 7lb 8 oz and no name yet!

My little boy was born at 3:27 this morning. 7 pound 6, just waiting for final checks then going to meet his big brother and sister. Xx

My little boy was born 3/7 at 07.25 still in hospital as EMCS but home today to meet his big sister!

But if an update - I’m in maternity ward waiting for my waters to be broken as things are the same as on Thursday 3cm /-3 station semi effaced . Wanted to hold out for a week overdue but due to a shortage of induction appointments available later in the week they have persuaded me to have it done today. However consultants are busy in surgery so it looks like it might be tomorrow? (Do they work day time hours for inductions - dunno?). Gut feeling this might end in a section which is not what I wanted but hey ho! Whatever’s safest at this point I guess?
