Hey mummies!!

I am not sure if there is a thread for January 2018 babies already.... but I can't find one!
Due date 21st Jan but feel like I am going to pop anytime soon, currently 38 weeks and 3 days with first baby... really excited, extremely terrified of birth, lots of anxiety but I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore and meet my baby! Still have no idea what I am having but makes it so exciting.

Anyone else also terrified of giving birth? Was really tempted to ask for a c-section but baby is in great birthing position so didn't have the heart to ask!

Would love to hear some positive stories and would love to know am not the only one shitting myself!!

@vjp25 it is my first yes; I think if I'd had my plug or baby had dropped by now I would think well things are on their way. But 39 weeks and sod all, I'm getting inpatient! I and my sibling were both 2 weeks late and had to be induced, so that's probably got me thinking I'll end up the same!

*impatient, not an inpatient. Although that's the aim

Sweep booked for tomorrow, reflexology with midwife on Thursday!

I'm so bored!

40+2 have nothing booked next app with MW is at 41 weeks. Shall I call and let her know I still don't feel nothing?! I am so bored and fed up too......

Going in for a c section tomorrow eeeeek! DS1 ended up being an energy c section so I'm very nervous!!

Good luck @AC14MUZ ☺️ @NewMummy29 I'm 40+5 tomorrow and still feel like he's showing no signs apart from the ever confusing back cramps that never turn into anything more lol! Has your midwife offered u a sweep? Not that they have worked for me so far....apparently only around 25% successful! Xx

Baby born at 8.58pm yesterday, a beautiful little girl weighing 7.5lbs

Ended up needing to go into theatre for a forceps delivery and I'm bloody sore now but she's so worth it 💖

Good morning ladies

I woke up around three times tonight with what I can only explain as strong period cramps.... I can't go back to sleep now as they are quite intense! Could this be the start of labour? I haven't had contractions ( not that I know what they feel like) but I can just feel constant kicking from baby? And really bad period cramps!

Oh sounds promising @NewMummy29 keep an eye on them could be early labour! I've been up all night with contractions every 4 minutes but they don't last any more than 40-50 seconds so far! I really hope this is it for us both x

@vjp25 ooooh exciting! I hope today is the day for us!!! I am feeling so scared yet excited... ! Just had a bath and still had constant cramps throughout but warm bath always feels much better

@vjp25 I was in labour for about 14 hours but only pushed for 1 because by then we were both exhausted!

@NewMummy29 yes I've been in the bath 3 times overnight! I've got a sweep booked at 11 so will see what they say....it's not getting worse but not getting better either! Also have pressure so I hope it speeds up! X

@vjp25 I hope it goes well for you... I think my water broke keep leaking, called triage asked me to come in to confirm if water broke and make a plan but most likely send me back home.... just counting now I am getting contractions every 6 mins lasting for around 30-37 seconds!! X

My baby boy Harrison was born today @ 9.25pm weighing 8lb 13 oz! ☺️

After 32 hours of labour.... what an experience! My perfect little daughter was born today at 13:58! So in love can't believe she's mine
