Wondering if anyone who has given birth feel they have experienced pain that is worse than the pain of child birth?

My 3yo DD who has a head like a cannonball accidentally head butted me in the face the other day. Straight into the nasal bone. I felt like my face was exploding. Didn't bother with A&E but judging by the black eyes the next day, it was probably broken! Admittedly the pain didn't last as long, but at its peak it was worse than (my 100% unmedicated) childbirth. I couldn't even move. Would rather give birth again any day. My nose now crunches unattractively when I wiggle it!

An infected tooth followed by extraction followed by dry socket was definitely more painful than giving birth for me. Very different sort of pain, though. At least with labour I knew there was something good waiting at the end of it!

Speaking of head butting, you've reminded me of when my toddler head butted my mastitis infected breast, that made me scream...
