How close to your due date did you actually give birth with your first?

I'm just curious. They say first babies are often late but perhaps not? I'd love to hear your stories.

ds induced after 2 weeks, edd was 26th, or in some places 30th, induced on 10th .

I was 2 days early with dd.

17 days over. Spontaneous labour though.

On the due date! I couldn't believe it so I went swimming

Other three all ten days early

3 days before my due date.

I was induced on the 6th waters didnt break till 10th dd was born on the 10th edd was for 17th

Day before due date! Very efficient of DS as it was the day my m/l started following 6 weeks of annual leave!

4 days early.

2 days after my due date early morning but went into labour at night at 40+1 so didn't have long to wait

Mws kept telling me that first babies are always late but almost everyone I know went longer past their due date with dc2.

3 weeks early Was induced due to waters trickling.

7 days over with first 4 days over with second

10 days late with ds,.without induction and dd was 8 days late. I must have been very comfy for them.

I was 11 days over. Due on 3rd born on 14th.

11 days early with first. Was hoping for the same this time round but I'm now overdue and still waiting

Both mine on their due dates. Very prompt, my babies!

8 days over with first, was induced with second and third came a day before her due date. I was so used to going over I refused to believe it was labour and arrived at hospital 8cms dilated.

8 loooooooong days late.

7 days late by ELCS.

Only just over 24hrs late. I think he was trying to get here on time!

Induced at 41+5 and gave birth at 42 weeks exactly

10 weeks early. Will pack my hospital bag earlier next time!

On it. It just felt like 2 weeks late, thanks to Mum and sisters constantly saying "Oh, our family always give birth 2 weeks early."

DCs 2 &3 were 2 weeks early.

Two and a half hours before her due date :)

15 days over with DS, EMCS after a failed induction. The little fella just didn't want to get out!

Went into labour 13 days late. Arrived at exactly 42 weeks.
