I'm just curious. They say first babies are often late but perhaps not? I'd love to hear your stories.

12days early

PotteringAlong · 01/11/2012 18:04

I was induced at 42 weeks and gave birth at 42+1

AnneOfCleavers · 01/11/2012 18:05

2 days early.

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 01/11/2012 18:14

Two days late. well, three I suppose. Due the 16th, laboured on the 18th, baby born early hours of the 19th of the month. I actually found it easier once I was past my due date, as prior to that I was so focussed on the 16th. As soon as that past I refocussed on "well, itll happen by the 30th!" so pressure off.

ouryve · 01/11/2012 18:15

Mine was forcibly evicted 16 days after the EDD.

theborrower · 01/11/2012 21:36

went into labour on my due date, DD was born early the next morning but we had an EMCS.

Fakebook · 01/11/2012 22:21

I was 2 weeks late and induced with my first. Second time, I went into labour on my due date and DS was born the day after.

40+3. Contractions began during evening of 40+1, waters broke at 11pm the same day. Slow labour for around 40 hours before everything kicked off. I had a midwife appointment on my due date and she told me it would be about 3 days, so I knew it was coming. I didn't bother with a sweep, for that reason, so it happened all by itself.

marriedinwhite · 03/11/2012 21:56

Due 24th January; arrived 25th December!!

PlumSykes · 03/11/2012 21:57

5 days early.

AWimbaWay · 03/11/2012 21:58

3 weeks early, but my next 2 were also early so think I just naturally have 37/38 wk pregnancies.

charllie · 03/11/2012 21:59

I gave birth the morning of my due date! So was definitely not late lol

Seems the due date is most popular, followed by 2 weeks late and then 1 day late

Flisspaps · 04/11/2012 07:37

16 days late

AntoinetteCosway · 04/11/2012 07:39

Went into labour 9 days early, she was actually born 7 days early.

weegiemum · 04/11/2012 07:42

39+4 for first.
Got earlier after that, I never made my due date!

Mapal · 04/11/2012 07:46

3 weeks early.

WhispersOfWickedness · 04/11/2012 07:53
