I saw the old thread was not 'Active' but please take a look before you proceed. I have had a terrible experience with this company, they are not medically trained and al their sales and mentor staff are ex-customers, like a pyramid or Ponzi scheme. The therapeutic content is just a bit of science about adrenalin and that’s it... that all they’ve got. I got some of my money back through my credit card and now they are taking me to court because they want it back, and have double the amount because of my reviews, to silence me.

IF YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH, I am alone trying to prove they are bad news. If you've been through their emotional blackmail sales experience or their programme pls let me know THANK YOU x

Asking questions is not a smear campaign.

D0rsetDad · 05/10/2021 21:15

Just to say many of the modules that cover the theoretical side of the program are now freely available on the site. This is great news! I'm hoping that other parents who are in need of answers find Sam's site before they read these negative posts by "professionals", each one trying to sound more clever than the next. Anyway, to other parents out there, take a deep breath, please go and visit her site and make up your own minds. I'm glad we did ☺️

SwanShaped · 05/10/2021 21:17

I don’t think anyone has claimed to be a professional?

scowe · 05/10/2021 21:21

@WoodchipNightmares and @OppsUpsSide i think I've fathomed out what you mean by 'sock's and can i assure you i am not one of them. If you have any genuine questions, as a parent going through this programme' I'll be happy to answer them.

D0rsetDad · 05/10/2021 21:27

It's just that when I read some of these negative comments, it doesn't feel like the majority are from parents who have actually done the program. It all about the company set up etc. I've done the program, it has really helped our family like many others. Questions about DBS checks, VAT registration are just a distraction/form of bullying if you ask me. It's taking away from the great work they do. I'll say it again, if you're a parent looking for a different way of helping your kids/family rid anxiety... this might be something to consider. Check out Sam's site Smile

scowe · 05/10/2021 21:39

@Mibb2 can you give some examples of these please?

  • sharing of children's details and medical information in their website
  • reactive, aggressive responses to trustpilot reviews and on mumsnet
  • high pressure sales technique
  • boasting on social media about how much money they're making.

As a parent going through the programme this doesn't tally with my experiences at all so if this is true can you please share?

GoodButNaughty · 05/10/2021 21:58

@scowe

All the evidence of these things is contained within the threads here on Mumsnet.

If you read through them in full perhaps you’ll then see why the BBC investigated...

scowe · 05/10/2021 21:58

@Patapouf "I'm grateful I have no need of intervention for my kids but good grief your weird ramble is doing more damage to your reputation than an anonymous online bad review could ever do"

If you've NEVER been in any need of intervention for your kids you are very lucky, for those of us that have struggled to get help and support for years through 'normal' means with no joy and who are now seeing real results from this company.... you should be ashamed of yourself. Purely jumping on the bandwagon about something you have no experience of either by having a child with anxiety and all the hell that goes with it, or working with the company itself.

I've seen so much of information from the company twisted and distorted on this thread tonight by people that for some reason chose to take one persons bad experience, which we don't know the full facts of, and run away with it like some kind of crusade. I hope you are proud of yourself.

scowe · 05/10/2021 22:04

@GoodButNaughty i've read a fair bit of the threads tonight and 'evidence' is severely lacking i've seen Sam misquoted numerous times, talk of things i genuinely have no experience of having signed up and currently going through the programme with real results and a whole heap of people jumping on the bandwagon who either have no experience of a child with anxiety or any actual dealings with the company and it's programme themselves that feel able to voice negative comments on it. Just goes to show, one person with a big gripe, and a whole heap of time on their hands, can really set out to do a lot of damage! Makes me incredibly sad.

Orangejuicemarathoner · 05/10/2021 22:08

wow. I dont know anything about this, and was just skimming through the thread out of interest, but @RobinsSam 's post sounds hysterical!

GoodButNaughty · 05/10/2021 22:10

Well @scowe I am none of those things and I’m not on any bandwagon.

You’ve clearly not read anywhere near enough of these threads if this is what you’re posting.

scowe · 05/10/2021 22:11

@Orangejuicemarathoner i think there are enough people on here that don't know Sam or the programme judging her and the formidable service she's provides to families like us commenting, you are not helping!

Patapouf · 05/10/2021 22:11

You sound doolally as well tbh and you aren't helping your friend's credibility.

I actually have lots of experience professionally in commissioning therapy services for children and young people, and know better than to trust charlatans that prey on vulnerable and desperate parents.

scowe · 05/10/2021 22:13

@GoodButNaughty personally, as someone going through this programme and seeing the results, i don't think i should have to read all the threads, i've read enough to see what's going on here. I know it works, as we are reaping the benefits. I say no more.

GoodButNaughty · 05/10/2021 22:18

@scowe thank goodness you’ve read enough... what a very diligent approach to digesting the evidence contained here...

Confused
D0rsetDad · 05/10/2021 22:19

@Orangejuicemarathoner check out Sam's site. Her videos are extremely informative and we'll thought out; as a parent knowing nothing about childhood anxiety, it was a great way to get started. Sam is very passionate and genuine about this subject, and above everything her prime focus is to get the kids better... Wearing your heart on your sleeve and being so honest is brave and should be commended...Smile

scowe · 05/10/2021 22:29

@Patapouf my 'friend'? she's not a 'friend' but she is helping my son and in return my family and that is all, so for that i respect her and the help she has given! I can see that you would be opposed to this as it goes against what you do for a living so you may be blinkered, but i think you are being very hasty in judging and banding about the term 'charlatans' , that's definitely not my experience. And 'desperate'? yes, we were, as nothing else we tried through 'conventional' means had worked so i thought this was worth a try, and so far it is working, things are changing after getting progressively worse for 7yrs. Vulnerable and doolally for standing up for something i feel passionately about.... well that i take offence too!!!!!! Seems a pattern on here, if you're for them, you're kind of crazy.... if you're against them you are fine. What a very very biased place to be.

scowe · 05/10/2021 22:32

@GoodButNaughty i'll tell you what, when i have more time, i will read the whole thing, from start to finish, but for now i have to get off to bed as have a very busy work day tomorrow. But like i say, being a part of this programme every day, and seeing the results really is the only evidence i need if i'm honest. Good night :-)

D0rsetDad · 05/10/2021 22:38

@scowe

D0rsetDad · 05/10/2021 22:39

@scowe Well said and happy to hear things are starting to change for you and your family. Night.

NoSquirrels · 05/10/2021 22:44

@OppsUpsSide

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many socks on a thread!
Classic case of bringing even more “unwanted attention” to their company…
NoSquirrels · 05/10/2021 22:50

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with someone being passionate, genuine and wanting to help kids recover from anxiety, of course. Pretty sure all of MN would agree with that.

But dodgy marketing tactics designed to monetise an internet ‘service’ that’s unregulated and cannot be authenticated in a transparent and open way (i.e. all information about evidence bases and details of the therapeutic programme and qualifications of the trained staff on an open website) should give any patent the cause for concern.

If Sam and team are honest they need better advisors and a proper marketing strategy that’s ethical and robust. They’re dealing with children’s mental health. It’s really the least that can be asked of them.

D0rsetDad · 05/10/2021 23:07

@NoSquirrels Her program is completely transparent. Most of the theory material is now freely accessible on her site. There are many parents who will vouch for the work and the positive impact. Of course her work is ethical and robust, they are kind staff and the program works Smile Also, final point, you refer to childrens' mental health... this is part of the problem. Our kids don't have mental health issues, they have anxiety... A physical condition that can be worked on in such a beautifully simple way... It's when it's not treated it becomes a bigger problem, gets labelled a mental health issue and leads to years in talking therapy, drugs, etc. Without Sam's program, my family would have gone down that path too; she offers another route that can help.

NoSquirrels · 05/10/2021 23:30

you refer to childrens' mental health... this is part of the problem. Our kids don't have mental health issues, they have anxiety... A physical condition that can be worked on in such a beautifully simple way...

I will rephrase, then.

They’re dealing with children’s emotions and wellbeing. A proper marketing and safeguarding strategy that’s ethical and robust is really the least that can be asked of them.

‘Being kind’ isn’t the same as having a safeguarding strategy that’s ethical and robust.

D0rsetDad · 06/10/2021 07:02

@NoSquirrels, sorry to correct you... but you never mentioned safeguarding in your post. You said "they need better advisors and a proper marketing strategy that’s ethical and robust". I was responding to this sentence 😃 The staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable and their program is very well structured, hence robust, so... parents tell other parents about their positive experiences ☺️ This is great marketing if you ask me! Again, we've done the program, its been incredibly informative and a safe environment to learn and share our experiences with other families. Any other parents out there going through hell with their kids, please do your own research, look at the site for yourselves (not listen to me going on! 🙏), watch some of Sam's videos... It will be time well spent👍
