Hi all

We just got back from the Cisano site at Lake Garda. We had a great time there, but as this is the first time we have every camped, we were a bit shocked at how close the tents were - I could here the guy snoring in the tent behind us and was paranoid that ds2 was going to wake up in the night and wake the whole camp up!

Thought Lake Garda was lovely - we had a couple of really fun days out at Gardaland and the Aquapark and did the cable car thing in Malcesine plus a couple of boat trips. Something really different. We flew out with Ryan air - cheap bucketshop flights but it worked really well and the whole holiday was really cheap.

The showers and toilets were really lovely and clean and I would definitely do the keycamps thing again, but I would probably wimp it and do the mobile home thing next time.

Where were you other Lake Garda guys?

Are all the tents on every site SO close!

The guy that runs the campsite said that there had been a couple of days of rain, but this was the worse weather he had for a few years especially in August.
Agree the rose was delicious and the campsite cabernet sauvignon went down well - bought back home a few bottles it was so good. Didn't try the prawns, went to a fab seafood restaurant and had crab complete with pincers & claw cutters.
Looking at booking next years holiday thinking of another eurocamp site in Venice - found a great deal booking direct again.

The guy who runs the campsite was the same guy who we were corresponding with when booking direct on the net. He was a bit of a misery guts - you could tell he was ready for the season to end.
