the kbears have been invited on a three day camping trip with some friends and we are considering going.

My question... is camping ever worth risking a marriage for?

Wet and Windy Weymouth 2007 was HELL.

It's not going to rain next week is it? IS IT?

Easily enough LOL, loads more space than you'd think- manged gear for us and my aprnets last Whit (parents have a 4 man tent). Our boot is so small the only newborn buggy we can get in is a Graco Mojo so impressive (we did buy a camping buggy last year LOL, only a woolies job but in its own bag so can go on roofbars)

Isn't it the BEST feeling in the world when you have finally crammed everyhing into/onto the car, the kids are in their seats and you're ready to go. What an achievement. Then you can spend the journey getting back on speaking terms with DH. Or is that just us? !!

Of course, all the good work is undone when you're pitching the tent and you have one of those under-your-breath kind of arguments.

Again, just us?

LOL - why are we putting ourselves through this again?

camping buggy. lololol

You can get therapy for these sort of addictions now I believe.

Peachy · 21/05/2009 14:48

not just you LOL

was worse last year when it was bucketing down and Dh had to pitch alomne as I was BF 5 week old ds4; he was Less Than Impressed

ahh but K-bear the very, very best feeling in the world is when you are there, and sat outside your tent, and the kids are finally asleep and you are drinking a very, very lovely glass of wine out of a plastic beaker, sat in your camping chair, looking at some great view.

Right, have to now go and buy watreproof trousers for the dds

Why would I want therapy Slubber? PMSL

No, Dh decided in all wisdom a sling woukld do for 2 weeks last summer and left buggy behind; a sling would NOT do and so I bought cheapy buggy when there, however as we have two buggies already it ahs been designated camping buggy (reason is we bought a nice padded buggy, car died so we cahnged but first buggy wouldn't fit into boot, had to then buy a second. Second lives in car, padded for school run).

None BTW are fancy pants buggaboo type things; all under £100 LOL

See you lovely camping ladies again soon.
Good luck Kbear. i'm sure you'll have a super time. Fingers crossed for the weather.
