La Garangeoire,Vendee two weeks at the start of July, roll on summer!

stirlingmum · 22/04/2008 17:44

We usually go to Britanny - HERE.
It is a lovely kid friendly site with a lovely quiet beach over the road and a nice restaurant virtually on the beach.

unknownrebelbang · 22/04/2008 17:47

We went to Beeksebergen at Easter, and we're considering Switzerland in August.

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/04/2008 17:58

Blimey - another one for the Vendee in June here! Any of you going to Camping Les Biches?

Milliways · 22/04/2008 19:51

Vendee in late July / August

Annner · 22/04/2008 21:33

OOh, Lovetents - so are we! Who are you going with? We're with Eurocamp, in a tent.

Have you been there before? We're really looking forward to it. DD is already playing Big Tents in the living room.

PeachesMcLean · 22/04/2008 22:15

Italy in four weeks three days' time. Very excited. A week in Norcenni Girasole (near Florence) then 8 nights at Del Garda (Lake Garda)

Will be playing "spot the mildmanneredjanitor" in Venice.

MrsMuddle · 22/04/2008 22:20

Le Garangeoire, end June / start July, too! How will we recognise fellow Mumsnetters in France?

Ooh hello! Yes, I've definitely started shopping and planning. Sad isn't it. I always used to pour scorn on those people who started weeks in advance, now look at me. And because of various work stuff in the days before we fly, I'll have to start actual packing about five days in advance!

Bought lots in insect repellent stuff today. Practising false tan. Sorting clothes, just trying to find a nice fleece / warm hoody for evenings (gets pretty chilly sat outside the caravan late on) DH booked tickets for the Uffizzi in Florence. Passports sorted.... what else. I'm surprised I don't have a written list yet...

Can't wait.

PeachesMcLean · 22/04/2008 22:31

Oh and lots of lovely MNers have suggested some holiday reading for me.

How about you?
