saw one of these eleract in all its wonderfullness today Outwell vermont

IMHO even better than the Monty.

I also saw a Bear Lake and girls, it was luuuuurrrvvveee at first sight. I know canvas tents are a PITA, but this baby rocks. The most beautiful canvas tent I have ever laid eyes on.

I almost wept in leaving without it. I still hear it calling 'Buy me, buy me!'

Peachy - don't fancy doing some links do you mate?

PeachesMcLean · 26/04/2007 22:19

LOL Sally, I can promise we don't do camping lite but I'm truly intrigued by this sexy tent business. I feel like I'm wearing BHS in a room full of Prada.

Love you Peachy, was going to bed but might wait especially so I have something to dream about up there!

PeachyChocolateEClair · 26/04/2007 22:26

stonking Norfolk lake

Kansas

The Kansas and the two following ones look as if ythe bedroom is a 4, but it comes with a divider so can be 4 or 2 X 2 dependent on your preference (handy huh?)

this is ours, we paid £30 extra for the footprint, and footprints are fab with SIGS but as you can see it is included in the price here- sniff!

canvas version, the Indiana

MrsDoolittle · 26/04/2007 22:27

Hi Ladies,
I'm loving this tent talk, now it's getting me all revved up.
Can I pose too?

MrsDoolittle · 26/04/2007 22:30

Mind you, I thought ours was fantastic last year.
Small fry now compared to these mighty tents you're all coming up with

PeachyChocolateEClair · 26/04/2007 22:31

Ah we had a similar one last year MMrs D(gelert tajhoma) loved it dearly, unfortunately not all campsites shared our adoration LOL!

ThomCat · 26/04/2007 22:33

Peachy, I bow at your tent pegs and kss your guys, thank you , xxx

PeachyChocolateEClair · 26/04/2007 22:37

glad to help.

ThomCat · 26/04/2007 22:43

slightly scared - oh so not the way I imagined that going! LOL. Sorry was just being grateful for gpoing to the trouble of doing so many links!

PeachyChocolateEClair · 26/04/2007 22:44

PMSL_ do0nt worry, was purely joking you'll get used to me, social skills of a hermit - inspired amoeba!

PeachesMcLean · 26/04/2007 22:52

Well I thought it was funny too. But then I'm the Ugly Betty of the Tent world here. And I think PeachyClair is secretly in love with Stan the Outdoor Man.

MrsDoolittle · 26/04/2007 22:52

Is that because it was too big peachy?

I haven't been on here for weeks and now I ifnd I'm getting a faceful of David Gest!!!!

Oh purlease! Think I'm going to have to go again.

PeachyChocolateEClair · 26/04/2007 22:53

He does make me PMSl! [blsuh]- and now you know my secret

sssshhhh- don't tell anyone- i used to have an

Argos tent!

And it was OK!

PeachyChocolateEClair · 26/04/2007 22:54

Yup, the caravan and camping sites don't like tents over 5 metres width, and the Tahoma was. Shame though, fabulous tent in every other way, for those only using on big pitches and want two or three pods, would recommend 110%. Quality better than the Khyam in my view. Harder to pitch though, must be said.

PeachesMcLean · 26/04/2007 22:55

I [heart] my argos tent.

Housemum · 26/04/2007 23:14

PeachyChoc - we've just bought the canvas Khyam - the Indiana 8TC - had a trial run in friend's garden to do the waterproofing thing (wouldn't fit in our postage stamp garden!!)

Was surprisingly easy to get it up, so to speak - shove the pole in the hole and you're away...

PeachyChocolateEClair · 27/04/2007 00:26

Yes they're the same as ours to pitch I think, incredibly easy aren't they? Took DH a while to figure out th gettting back in the bag issue though LOL!
