Candles if appropriate (for outside obv!) and a couple of lamps/lights for in or outside

We also take a battery operated radio

Umbrella for holding over DH as he tries to light bbq.

Talking of which do you have a zippo lighter?

Have you got a gazebo to errect next to tent to cook under and hang out in in the morning?

Wind breaker for back of tent to a) stop silly feckers tripping over and falling onto you in your tent as you sleep! b) the wind!

TeeCee · 11/04/2007 20:42

Re packing car, you can sit on the duvets and blankets etc

Mercy · 11/04/2007 20:43

Oh yes Tc, windbreak is essential

TeeCee · 11/04/2007 20:44

I'm soooooooooooo excited for you!

Ainsmum, you also need to think about food!

What are you planning on eating?

Also a few clothes pegs

Camping is FAB. Ohhhhhhhhh hope you have a really lovely time

OrvilleRedenbacher · 11/04/2007 20:47

bottle opener

Mercy · 11/04/2007 20:48

sorry re the candles comment - where we go camping they provide picnic benches and we sit outside till quite late with our anti-mozzie candles (whatever they are called)

TeeCee · 11/04/2007 20:48

You can sit on them then!

Don't forget her fav book and teddy etc.

TeeCee · 11/04/2007 20:49

No bottle opener req if you do my idea and take the boxes of wine

Mercy · 11/04/2007 20:49

Can recommend Phernergan for travel sickness or sea bands.

Cod, I didn;t know you were a camper!
