MN Camping Meet Up!!

Now, it is just a suggestion, following the lines of UKCampsite meet ups.

I am really good at making suggestions, no good at the fine details, if someone/anyone thinks it is a good idea we could if you are all in agreement try and go somewhere for next year (forward planning!!) Or the weekend before school starts in Sep 2006?

What do you all think?

wrexham is near north wales

we are in Exeter so would really like the SW, but the New forest, nad Forest of dean aren't too far away. we hang around the North west quite a bit too so might manage a camping trip around there.

I might be able to manage Wrexam.

or even Wrexham.

Hmmm, TBH I would go for Forest Hokidays, either New Forest or Forest of Dean, just coz trheir sites are so nice. And cheap. But I shall have a hunt in my book tonight

Soooo, where are we going then and when?

As regards dates, I can make pretty much anytime next year as at this point nothing has been decided or booked

Next year before June (from March, I'd say) or during the long hols (which might prove to be more crowded and fall smack bang in the big family holiday season)

WHERE? Let's have a decision before too much longer. Mid England, Wales or South?

3 nights usually is required.

Are we booking individually or as a group? I'd go for individually.

Then we can move onto the more exciting decisions like, special handshake or greeting?! Group BBQ on first night, how are we going to manage being of MN for a whole 3 days

New forest area would be easiest for me but we could go any were really

Burnham..... are you sure? (sorry, too much of a local LOL!)

Bracelands I think would be ideal for me but New forsest OK also. June would be great- a weekend at the end of perhaps, just before season kicks in?

May half term maybe? June is good for me, maybe we could go during school term staying only 2 nights if possible Fri-Sun, hopefully it might keep the crowds down.

Oh and anyone given a thought to our special handshake?
