My calorie goal is 1800 and I'm counting down to a holiday in mid June that I want to feel amazing for.

I thought I'd start this thread for anyone else who wants motivation and support for adhering to a calorie goal.

I'm going to screenshot MyFitnessPal and post at the end of each day but you can share your daily cals in any way you wish.

Let's start by sharing our daily calorie goal ☺️

I did it... a week of deficit. Its a small step but has motivated me.
I lost 4lbs over the week, but most of that was probably water weight as I'd been eating junk and boozing before (holiday).

I'm 9 stones 13.5 this morning (only 5 feet tall).
I'm telling myself to try and not go over 10 stone again, but I know life happens!
Goal is 1 stone less than now. Which will be within healthy bmi and my clothes might fit again.

Morning guys.

My weekend was indulgent but probably /hopefully still within my calories.

Today I'm dropping daily cals again and aiming for 1950. Last week was 2000. Aiming for high protein & healthy choices, less processed etc.

My calories are set at 1570. Haven’t weighed today. I will weigh but will go by how I feel and how my clothes feel. I’m within a few lb of my target weight just I’ve been unable to exercise so need to be more mindful. 😊

I am closing up the kitchen on 1333 and 66g carbs, that’s a really good day for me, and I did a run this morning .

it’s my office day tomorrow, it always is a tricky day because I get really dehydrated and frazzled. I want to do a home workout in the morning as I haven’t done any strength training all week as I was giving my hip/back a rest. I’ve planned my meals but the danger zone is the 40 minutes between getting in from work and going out to Ds’s football where I can eat 1000’s of calories if I’m in the right/wrong frame of mind.

Today was a good day. Not perfect but good enough.

1475kcal (under 1500)
Steps 7k (wanted 8k)
Protein 15%. Feeling hungry today and this is prob why, will work on this tomorrow.

Peppermint tea is back on the menu for me.

I haven’t had my dinner yet but it’s all counted out, I’m having an omelette and salad, I’ll be ending the day on 1550 cals/116 G protein. i haven’t exercised at all today as I’ve been in the office, I might go out for a walk this evening if the weather holds- there’s a very ominous black cloud looming while I’m sat here at football

I went over on my calories a little, to 1750, 116g protein. I did 14.5k steps (I did a run, a workout and a dog walk)

Wow go you! So much exercise.

I need to get into a routine with it asap. I love the feeling when I'm fit and strong, it makes a difference on how my body feels (and looks haha)

What percentage of this is protein?

Just curious, does anyone else find when they're on their period they don't lose even if they keep to their calorie limit?

@Perzival yes, and at ovulation- it’s water retention for me, I just balloon up with water. I also ravenous though so I don’t always stick to my calories

Happily managing on 1250 a day. However, I'm on Wegovy, so hunger is not an issue. I've lost 25 lb since 9 Feb.

I went quite over on my calories today (1900) however I had only 60g carbs and I hit 166g protein. It was a kind of intentional thing as it’s totm and normally I am uncontrollably hungry but today I wanted to try something new and max the protein/slash the carbs and see what happens. Interesting that although I increased my calories, I pretty much ate my daily tdee, and then stopped, I was satiated and haven’t craved anything. Food for thought!

I did 13.3k steps. It was glutes day for my workout and then I did a 5km run at lunch, and walked the dog. I’m having a rest day tomorrow as I want to do a really long run on Saturday.
