100 days till mid-aug weight loss!

Right I’m being accountable! Tomorrow morning is 100 days till I go on holiday (mid aug). I’m going to weight myself and record it here for accountability.

Online suggest 1-2stone is doable in 100 days.

This would be great for some support! I need to buy a new scales battery but whilst waiting for that will start tomorrow…I’ve been trying to start all year. We can do this!

Well no wonder I’ve been avoiding the scales - I thought at worse I’d be 13 and a half stone, but I’m 14st 8lb. Knowledge is power though, feeling positive as I’m no longer hiding from the truth.
Todays plan is really hearty porridge for breakfast and a two hour dog walk. Lots of fluids. I booked a Cambridge 1:1 consultant so I’ll be hearing from her today too.
How are you feeling @100daystogo ?

@AlwaysAlba @may23 feeling good right now. Got my water bottle filled, tracked my calories going to get some steps in today.
My plan is to just try and be in a calorie deficit and eat a bit healthier. I’m not going to restrict but be mindful. If I want a bit of chocolate im going to have it but just not eat a family size bag.

I have emotional eaten myself 10kg heavier due to some trauma but mentally in a better place. Going to focus on me and my family.

Sugar cells are stored with a big cushion of water round them, so if you're eating much in the way of carbs, you'll be carrying some nice heavy water, too.

I’ll join! Today I’m 14st 5lb.

I’ve lost just over a stone so far, went to the gym today and felt absolutely gross though. My stomach is huge 😩 and I’m due on so feeling extra crappy, but onwards and upwards…

This is my plan:
• 10k steps a day minimum
• Gym every other day minimum
• 1600 to 1800 cals per day
• Intermittent fasting (16/8 minimum). I did 17/7 today
• Shit ton of water

Any other ideas? Trying not to cut anything out my diet as I know if I cut foods out I tend to want to binge on them!

Go on then, I did a 100day weigh challenge on MyFitnessPal a couple of years ago and it was interesting to see the results and how up and down weight is on a daily basis. I've put my graph on here, I definitely wasn't actually gaining and losing 2lb in a day of fat but that's what happened on the scales.

Starting weight 12/5/2023 is 218lb
Would love to lose 1 and a half stone so 21lb which would take me below the 200lb mark.

Ooh I would love to join. I started 16:8 IF yesterday and need to lose 16kgs that have piled on since lockdown. I'm 45 so and in the thick of peri symptoms and I seem to gain weight just by looking at anything with carbs.
My plan us:
Try Keto
Carry on with 16:8 fasting
Exercise (I have weights and exercise bike) daily
I'm going to up my water intake

Hopefully if I join this group I may stick to the above for 100 days.

Starting weight is 328lb - scary I know!

My goal for the 100 days is to get firmly into the 200s :-)

I calorie count using the nutracheck app and try to eat high protein where possible - this has really worked for me in the past.

I also swim and do weights, my steps are terrible though so I am going to start walking in the morning for 30 mins before I start work.

I’ve given into the fad and got a weighted hula hoop, I did use it during a meeting today where I just needed to listen so guess that’s a positive!
