What a horrible, article to write in National Breastfeeding Awareness week.

And using the case of that suicidal woman in the US to have a pop at breastfeeding advocates in the UK.

I think Daisy has a very good point - I struggled terribly to breastfeed, which was bad enough, but what was worse was how much a failure I felt.

Well, I can't objectively say that she has a point - rather, what she wrote echoes my own experience !!!

I'm not British (South African married to a Brit and living here since 2006), and it's been really interesting to see how class-related breastfeeding is: middle-class British women breastfeed. Ergo, if you can't, you clearly don't belong ...
