I didn't wean ds (bf) till 7 months, TH. Nothing to do with bfing really - he was very poorly for two months so weaning was delayed.

Dh and I went through a phase of being given gallons of it by misguided elderly aunts.
I seem to remmeber it just about passed muster in a fondue amazingly enough!

I once met someone who told me about a breast feeder who weaned early. So it does happen.
