"Bottle-fed babies who start eating solids early are more likely to become obese children, says research published today."

do ALL bf mothers wean late? is that a fact?

I'm parping back to my patch Grin

dinny · 07/03/2006 21:41

I didn't wean ds (bf) till 7 months, TH. Nothing to do with bfing really - he was very poorly for two months so weaning was delayed.

turniphead · 07/03/2006 21:46

my dc's were bottlefed and weaned very late - 8 months - but of course, that purely anecdotal Wink

Pruni · 07/03/2006 21:47

Television is always crap.
Possibly as crap as formula.

But you feed an ego (or three) that will only come back for more of the same at a later date.
I've been here over a year and seen it again and again

OP posts:
mogwai · 07/03/2006 21:54

(was much better on the passive birth thread, was all fluffy and full of anaesthetic and cream horns [smile)

moondog · 07/03/2006 21:55

Yes Piffle,I do like t'Internet.
Hock! LOL!!!
Dh and I went through a phase of being given gallons of it by misguided elderly aunts.
I seem to remmeber it just about passed muster in a fondue amazingly enough!

OP posts:
turniphead · 07/03/2006 21:55

it was a cream horn that got you into the birth thing in the first place

Piffle · 07/03/2006 21:56

Unkind ST - you want to see her talking about fishfingers Grin

mogwai · 07/03/2006 21:57

spidermama · 07/03/2006 21:57

I once met someone who told me about a breast feeder who weaned early. So it does happen.
