Moondog, I'm really surprised at the tone of some of your posts on this thread. You having a bad day?

Some of your posts seem a bit superior and nasty.

Come back here right now and be nice Grin

moondog · 07/03/2006 21:14

I'm bored already.

helsi · 07/03/2006 21:15

no not paranoia "dear" just anger and disappointment about how some people "talk" to others. It shouldn't happen. Live and let live is all I am saying.

Don't get defensive "dear" I am not getting at you personally just the way this whole subject is dealt with on this site generally.

Moondog, you are now reminding me of a boy in my class at school who used to start arguments and then run away....what's up?

moondog · 07/03/2006 21:17

Au contraire Lockets.
Thought it was interesting and wanted to share.
Having a splendid day actually.

I'd still like to know why Moondog? As you've pointed out I'm a thicko and can't add 2+2 so I need you to tell me.

mogwai · 07/03/2006 21:18

and all that french reminds me of a girl on my french degree who used to hang around the wine section in Waitrose saying "oooh I think I'll have some Merlot" in the best accent she could muster.....

(actually the article in the telegraph was interesting, and it should surely be ok to discuss it without resorting to being so rude??)

Posters sometimes feel there is a wild conspiracy to slag off bottle feeders. There isn't. If people are happy with their choice then that's great. I really don't care if you are feeding your kid neat gin, turps or Black Tower.

However, there is a growing body of research that demonstrates time and again that formula is not an ideal first food in the way that breast milk is. Some people are interested in knowing a little bit more about it.
Some aren't.

Er....that's it.

My cunningly plotted agenda in full.

OP posts:
mogwai · 07/03/2006 21:27

but the article didn't say that did it? I thought it said more about the parent overfeeding the baby by encouraging them to finish their bottles.

Read it this afternoon, perhaps I've forgotten what it actually said?

dinny · 07/03/2006 21:28

So what about the posters who aren't happy about ffeeding then (like me?) It's not always as clear-cut as you think, Moondog. It's not always a choice. I think the article is interesting and I'm glad you posted the link, but I'm sad to say I don't like the sentiments of some posters on this and other threads.

Pruni · 07/03/2006 21:29
moondog · 07/03/2006 21:29

I never said the bloody article said that!!
It's my done to do a 'Jeeez!!' in manner of you to that poster about her dh's dodgy dealings!!

OP posts:
moondog · 07/03/2006 21:31

Hmmm,I don't like the sentiments of many posters on many threads Dinny but you know, hey, that's the way it is.

OP posts:
mogwai · 07/03/2006 21:31

(yeah...what was THAT about? Thought it was inspired meeeeeself!)

SuperTramp · 07/03/2006 21:33

Funny - this thread had more of 'wind em up and watch em go' feel about it.
