Harrow/Eton/Radley/Winchester Entry 2028

Starting a thread for all those parents whose sons are currently in Year 6 and who are hoping to join one of these 4 schools in 2028

As the first stage of their assessment process, the boys are sitting ISEB exams this month

Here we can discuss anything and everything to do with the entire application and assessment process over the next 6 or so months or so. By which time we should all know if we have offers, rejections or have been waitlisted

We are still waiting and rather disappointed that we still don’t have any news. I just wonder why they gave us the time frame ( w/c the 16th of March) if they couldn’t do it within the time frame. I didn’t expect that from Eton. I genuinely thought they would maybe schedule the emails to go out just before 5pm on Friday. I keep coming to check on here. It’s been a difficult day.

@UASC2002 it could be because of the awful news they had just before the results were due . 0 tranche was a week late too

That could be a possibly. I totally understand and it is very sad. My heart goes out to the family and school. However, I think they could have just sent an email to say they will be a delay. Perhaps, not send the first email to say results will be sent w/c 16/03. We will keep waiting.

does anyone know when outcomes from wincoll interviews are likely to be made known?

Bit of a roundup of results publishing dates then based on my understanding :

Eton Tranche 1 - published

Eton Tranche 2 - June

Eton Tranche 3 - July

Radley - published

Harrow - late March/Early April.

Wincol - May

Marlborough - late March/early April

Tonbridge: - not sure

Wellington - published

Tonbridge: published (mid of Jan)

Marlborough College: published (16th March)

Eton Tranche 2: May (10th May last year)

Eton Tranche 3: June ( 27th June last year)

Harrow: April or May (8th April last year)

Tombridge had published results about month ago the last scholarship wards were sent last couple of weeks ago

Information email about tranche 1 results was saying that Please contact us to follow up if you have not heard from us by Monday 23rd March.

i believe they were sent out Friday last week

Any one knows when Harrow will send out offer this year?
