Does anyone think he has an undiagnosed mental illness? there's a similar thread on the main board but very few seem interested in exploring this.

He seems manic in how he talks and I was surprised how well he defended himself with Piers Morgan and we all know how he crushes his interviewees. There's no mention of drugs or being in a gang. He seems to just do these crazy stunts for the thrill. ADHD perhaps? Is anyone else thinking he should be pushed for an immediate mental health assessment rather than sent off to prison. I feel if this angle is not looked into he will come out of jail and just keep doing until he probably gets killed.

Well I just did @SolemnLaughter. Hearing about it is enough for me, thanks.

After reading this thread yesterday, I've just seen a Tiktok today where he states he's recently been discharged after being sectioned for 20 days.

I think it’s a bit off to diagnose people with mental illnesses remotely. Mizzy has a combination of factors, such as emulating social media trends, being egged on by peers and the internet, desire to be famous etc. He does seem to act impulsively and perhaps doesn’t consider the consequences, but he’s also young and has been thrown into the spotlight before he knows how to handle it.

I think mizzy is probably doing well or ok out of this, I agree he comes across intelligent but I fear more for young boys who look like him who might copy him and the trouble they could land in especially if autistic and black

Err, why would you think he'd be in either. I'm lost..

Hi,

I interviewed Mizzy for a video recently, he has just come out of being sectioned for 20 days with a possible psychotic episode and they are currently exploring for other possible mental health conditions.

However, if this is the case, then in the short term we have to give him the benefit of the doubt here, he appears very open to talk about it, so I think watch this space, I am sure he will be sharing more with us as soon as he knows.

I think if he was white and middle class he would definitely have had people being more proactive about working out what was behind his behaviour, and more second chances given. White and working class, far more of a lottery, help usually too little to late and young people quickly written off.
