Has anyone seen or heard about this?

My heart is breaking, why are humans like this? Not one single human tried to help her. They tore out her braids from her scalp and beat her black and blue; ofcourse it won't show as much because of the colour of her skin and the fact that black skin is thicker than white skin. This is so sad. Schools needs to teach kindness and character to students instead of all this trans nonsense! Trans people, dogs and cats seem to have more protection in this country. I'm in tears. What can we do to change people like this??

Schools cannot be everything to everyone. It did not take place on school premises or during school hours.

Even if it did, school staff actually are not required to physically intervene in physical altercations. That's not what the term 'safeguarding' encompasses.

If this had been between adults, close to one of their workplaces, the employer would be under no obligation to put themselves in harm's way. Bystanders often don't, for extremely good reasons, and wading is is often much worse than staying calm.

Parents are the ones who ought to be looking out for their children, and perpetrators of crimes ought to be punished, not those who were not in a position to prevent harm.

I pointed out there are two types of schools. This school is the first type. I know people who went to that type of school and people who taught in them. I went to the second type of school, others who do and currently go to that type plus people who teach in them.

I went to the second type of school and so have my children. Zero tolerance, if you're in the uniform you represent the school and held accountable.

Firstly trans people, dogs, cats should have protection in this country. I don’t understand your comparison, it’s nonsense.
the police have arrested the people what more do you want? Unless you’re going to go kick their heads in yourself I suggest you stop crying over a situation which has nothing to do with you personally.

I think about this case often. I wonder what happened and whether the poor girl is OK or whether anyone was ever convicted.
ETA it looks like the vile woman went to jail and two other girls got found guilty
