Cosmosis · 03/03/2010 11:36

VAG am 15+3 innit.

givecarrotsachance · 03/03/2010 11:44

coz eating licorice allsorts no matter what your semi-detached state is totally unreasonable. (eeww). ski on the other hand, you AB totally R.

cas good news about rheumy person.

Now, those of you who live near me, help please. I'm going (for my sins, obviously they are many) to go to McArthur Glen in York on Saturday (be afraid...). In my defence, a friend wants a new dress - I wouldn't shop there by choice, obviously. Anyway, forgetting the protestations, we're planning to meet our boys (and kids) after for lunch but I want to go to a pub rather than the crappy food court. Any ideas of a decent place for lunch, not too far, pref with a soft play or playground as we'll have my 5.5 and her nearly 2 year old with us.

GrumpyGasper · 03/03/2010 11:47

can't find celeb news. And should be working, so ski fess up and let me get on!

givecarrotsachance · 03/03/2010 11:47

Oh - YEAH TELL US!

iggypiggy · 03/03/2010 11:48

grumps I found Danielle Lloyd - but I don't know who she is...

GrumpyGasper · 03/03/2010 11:50

just found it too - airhead Miss England who was shagging old footballer, then lost title cause he was on the panel or summat. Good pals with Katie Price. Did Celeb BB and generally a scouse bimbo. Thank fuck you get private rooms iggs

givecarrotsachance · 03/03/2010 11:56

Oh it's a "CELEB". Sorry ski, but you've lost my interest there. I thought it was someone here or something.

SilverSky · 03/03/2010 12:14

i feel sick. Not due to ms. Due to shoving nearly whole packet of fizzy cola bottles down throat. There are two left and they are laughing at me.

Wonder if my ham sandwich will wash away the yuk feeling.

Did have fresh pineapple first thing tho. Lush.

Having serious SP (sex pest) probs with husband. Wont leave me alone! Persistant git! Going to cut it off fo sho!

skihorse · 03/03/2010 12:14

haha sorry to disappoint - I was just thinking that between Dannii and Danielle's somewhat grating accent(s)/WAG show and paparazzi our iggy might just murder someone.

I haz had email from dad - they're going to get in to Newcastle on the Sunday night so I can go out "on the razz" with my friends saturday night. D'you hear that cossie/rots? No sleep until 9pm!

A really, really nice thread

Makes me feel so much better about the scan on Friday when we'll hopefully get to know!

So irritated by ignorant woman the other day, "well if it's a boy you can try again in a year or so" FFS. Same cow that said, "17 weeks - just when you feel fat and frumpy and noone knows you're pregnant". Someone else last night after hearing someone commenting that I'd actually looked bigger last week, "Yes, you looked much worse last week".

Where do these people get off?

skihorse · 03/03/2010 12:16

Silver Tell him the baybee can see his cock. Our sex-life has been somewhat sporadic but I'm pleased to report we do actually have one. I gather it's perfectly "normal" to down tools until 16-18 years post-partum.

Fizzy cola bottles is the shiz.

ROFL ski

I was chatting to a friend until 10.30 last night. SOOO tired today.

SkaterGrrrrl · 03/03/2010 12:30

Nice pic of the piglet, iggy!

Gah, stupid bimbo slebs. I love the latest Private Eye headline on Mrs John Terry "Footballers wife decided to give his money one more chance".

Re sex pest husbands, my friends with kids have told me to shag for England during the 2nd trimester, because I wont want it in the 3rd or after the birth!

Carrots I'd love a boy or two! Won't know what to do with them as I only have sisters and was raised by a single mum, but SkaterBoy will be brilliant - he's very sporty, outdoorsy, was a Boy Scout, will build tree houses & teach bike riding and all those cool things (obviously he will do the above for a girl too!)

I went to collect my notes last night and midwife asked if I wanted to hear the baby's heartbeat. for the first time. It was awesome! So fast, like little horses' hooves pacing a mini Grand National in my womb.

skihorse · 03/03/2010 12:33

Skater Have you decided yet to take up your parents offer of the posho pushing place? I'm thrilled to hear you heard the hb - it's magical isn't it?

Does anyone have feelings about what they're having? I think boy, jailbait thinks girl - moment of troof = monday.

My marriage has been sex free since about three days before the BFP. The same weekend when I purchased a rabbit. It is a very lonely rabbit. (one attempt to keep myself happy, sans lapin, very early in pregnancy led to nasty belly pains, so I ahave been put right off). I have neither the mental nor physical urge to have sex. It's the last thing my painful pelvic region needs. And I am prone to the fanjo itch, which we all know can be worsened by pregnancy. So, no, he can fuck off until I feel like it and keep giving me massages. I think that's only fair seeing as I am doing the carrying/birth bit.

Then again, he might just divorce me...

Cosmosis · 03/03/2010 12:42

So glad I'm not the only one to have gone off sex. I just can't be arsed. I know that's bad of me.

GrumpyGasper · 03/03/2010 12:42

I fink girl. Find out 9am on Saturday...

GrumpyGasper · 03/03/2010 12:43

cos if we can't be selfish when pregnant, when can we?

skihorse · 03/03/2010 12:54

Btw, I think I forgot to tell you the Boots freebie-baybee haul:

i) newborn dummy
ii) bottle
iii) thermometer
iv) toy
v) cloth
vi) energy drink for moi
vii) 15% discount card for Etam maternity
viii) nappies
ix) 10 euros off pampers newborn card

Head's up, switty is incoming but still on that boat on The Nile.

We've had a bit. Not a Paul Daniels lot, but a bit. Given the threatened MC and feeling ill we avoided at the beginning. Now I'm mostly too knackered but TBO I fancy the bloke so much that if he makes a move, I can't resist.

skater absolutely made up for you. Stupid MW, "naah, I can't be bothered to hear my baby's heartbeat". WHAT are you LIKELY to say?! . Fantastic!

I have no idea what we're having. I was utterly convinced that LC was a girl but this time I've no idea and more to the point after much soul searching and internal honesty (as I REALLY wanted a girl with LC), I absolutely don't care at all. I'm torn between the wanting one of each (and the MAC stuff for girls is gorgeous really!!), and really thinking that boys are fab, cuddly, loving, straightforward and unlikely to get pregnant at 15.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 03/03/2010 13:08

Sex Q 1: Nope, nothing since conception - toooooo tiiiired. Pledging to do some v soon though.

Sex Q 2: TSF and I are referring to it as "he" - we both have a feeling about it. V scientific obv. Neither of us are bothered either way, though TSF thinks little girls are fab after lots of fun times with my 3yo neice. As to another one, I've always thought a matching pair sounds nice (being one of a pair myself), but one of each of course also sounds nice. Vaguely thinking two is about right (TSF, eldest of 3, thinks 3 too many to fit neatly into a car). Anyone else?

iggypiggy · 03/03/2010 13:24

Sex Q 1: Yes - about once a week cos am mainly too tired in evenings mornings of work - is weekends only!

Sex Q 2: We have a feeling is a boy - but not any real reason for that. I would be happy with either - I honestly can't pick which I would prefer - not just saying that.

rots do you mean MAC make up?! Prob not.. but I dunno what else MAC stands for...
