Fibi, we are due date buddies, and both still waiting, but actually 40 + 4 isn't that overdue really and I think it's still more likely that you'll go into labour spontaneously than not. My labour with dd1 started on 40 + 4, and in retrospect I find myself telling people she was 'pretty much on time'.
I'm doing the same though, I've started on the 'oh I expect I'll be induced end of next week' line with people. I'm trying to think of positives here, and am remembering how I missed my bump a bit once it was gone, so I'm trying to cuddle this one lots, and enjoy the extra tme we're getting as our own little private twosome.
here I go again, but it's full moon on Saturday, so I'm going to aim for that,then if nothing I have MW appt for Monday, so that will be my next 2 day milestone, and then I've heard that just being booked in for induction can be enough to spark something off, so...
