Right, it's time to catch up! I've been reading everything but haven't had time to post, I read while I'm eating but don't have hands free to type!
Can't - I posted a test to you first class today so you should get it tomorrow, good luck!
Kooky - congratulations on Joe! Sorry you've had a hard start but glad he's home with you now, how are you getting on with the feeding? Do you have to go back to have things 'done' to fix his palate or will it fix itself?
SST - your new techinique sounds like it's working so far, hope it continues to improve, I'll be coming to you for advice in 9 months time when I've had no sleep for 6 months!
STT - Good luck for your check this afternoon, I hope it's nothing to worry about. How are ou getting on with DS's behaviour now? DD2 had a relapse with potty training recently, having been very good for nearly 2 weeks she then started having 7 accidents a day and not trying anymore, I think the novelty had worn off for her. Since then I've resorted to bribery , she gets 1 chocolate chip (the cooking sort!) for doing a wee or poo on the potty/toilet, and she gets 2 if she does it without me telling her too. It took a few days for her to 'get' the connection, but she did improve and we've now been 4 days accident free! Also I've found that asking her if she needs a wee is pointless, she's always says no. Instead I now say "you're going to need to do a wee in a minute" then a few minutes later, if she hasn't taken herself then I say "it's time to do a wee now" and I take her to the potty. Sometimes I have to remind her of the chocolate to get her to co-operate, other times I say "if you do a wee for me then I'll stop pestering you" and we turn it into t a bit of a game, ending with her doing a wee then wagging her finger at me and saying "now you can't stop pestering me". Not sure how we're going to get away from the reliance on chocolate bits but at the moment it's better than having a soggy carpter
Kayz - congratulations on passing your theory, do you have a date in mind for the practical test? Also wow that Dylan's starting to walk already, that's really early!
Diege - before you list everything on ebay, I don't suppose you've got a maternity coat (or anything else warm) in a smallish size have you? I'm really struggling to find anything and I know you're pretty small too and buy lots of clothes . I'm getting quite into X factor this time having never seen the appeal before, although I did notice last night that Simon's got really hairy hands, don't you find them off-putting?!
Ses, sorry I don't have any advice on the sleeping problems, but I hope you have some success soon.
Tink, I can't keep up with your shopping! I just buy things when the DDs have run out of unstained things or the sleeves are getting too short
IDOB - I'm really quite of your 1st timer maternity leave, it sounds lovely! Do you have a syndicate going yet?
Apologies to anyone I've missed and if this has turned in to a bit of an essay, will try to keep up better from now on, honest!
