Hello again!

Groups sound good boden!

Cant - sorry that you are still not hving sleep! I think I had better keep quiet about GC's sleep as I will be cast out of the wagon I really hope it will improve soon.

Diege - yes I can imagine 'popping out for fresh air' takes on a whole new meaning when you are mum of 4! I find 'popping out' anywhere hard enough with one! Although I do have 3 flights of stairs to negotiate with GC and pushchair. (no lift!)

LOL at getting out before they wake when you go back to work - sounds like a plan!

I'm off out with Gyo and her SG this afternoon, am looking forward to it

DD2 is good for having naps, but i can't really rest then as have the other 2!!

Am thinking of starting getting the ball rolling on being a surrogate again... My friend who i knew when i decided to try for DD2 is coming over next tuesday... Think i'll be testing the waters etc... seeing what she thinks to waiting for me to be ready to be a surrogate for her!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 13:55

GS- no- its nice hearing about babies that sleep well- reminds me that it will happen at some point... just when i think she's getting better at sleeping she gets a cough, or has a growth spurt and it spoils everything... and by better at sleeping i mean waking for feeds at 3ish, 6ish then up for feed at 7ish- thats what she has been known to do... but it's never lasted longer than a week!!

Kayzr · 07/09/2009 14:01

Work was bloody cr@p!!!!!! The person I worked with today does my ruddy head in. I might have well been on my own today!!!

Diege, DS2 is practically following GF to the letter today. He has just woken up and is having his bottle!!

I'm hoping it means he will sleep tonight. I am sick of being up at 2 every morning.

ooh- dont know what happened then... didn't mean to send the same message twice...

Diege · 07/09/2009 14:22

Hey that's good KAYZ (gf, not work colleague!). I am being lazy and letting J sleep past the 2pm wake up as he has been screaming it out a bit over lunch.
CANT, wow surrogancy is exciting! Does your friend know that it's something in the pipeline, or will your offer be a surprise? Agree about tiredness - I really have no excuse with J sleeping through (though dd3 up in night, every night) but I just find the daily slog so wearying and my energy levels are zilch at the moment. Am really trying to resist the lure of caffeine as I have done so well to cut down on it. How's the weight loss going btw?
Hi GRUFF! Those stairs sound tough! Enjoy your trip with GYO this afternoon!
Agree, clubs do sound good Boden - I must start looking around for something to go to with J before I go back to work.
Right I must go and wake J up - I can see GF in my mind's eye shaking her head and wagging her finger at me

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 14:26

have just looks in the DC's red books- on friday DD2 weighed in at 12lb 10oz at 28weeks old... DD1 was 12lb 12oz at 10weeks old, and DS was 13lb 4oz at 7weeks old- just proves how small she is still!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 14:30

haha- weight loss.... well, i haven't been doing much wii fit in the last 2 weeks... BUT when i did the body test the other day i'd still kept my 1/2 a stone off so far... and have been 'excersising' (of sorts IYKWIM) a fair amount without my wii fit... so i'm still doing well- have never lost weight before- only ever gained it!!

As for my friend... she knows i'm considering my options as i still really want to do it, but worry about the risks with another prem baby and sickness, and another section.... but i have said that i'd take the risk if i were to want another child myself... and she agreed that every pregnancy is a risk really, and that she doesn't think many couples who needed a surrogate would be too bothered by the risks.

Diege · 07/09/2009 15:03

I think you're absolutely right in what you say about risks CANT, and if you both feel happy with the situation then go for it! Just wondering what the advice is regarding getting pregnant after a section (just out of interest of course )

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 15:06

i think its just to be prepared for anotheri dont expect to be even TTC for around 12mths minimum though, i want ruby walking and talking first really.

Kayzr · 07/09/2009 15:06

Oooooh Diege are you tempted by number 5?

Kayzr · 07/09/2009 15:08

Glask we might be TTC together then as we're hoping to be TTC in about 12 months.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 15:08

oh and waiting 12mths would mean both older DC's were at school all day!!! would be much better only having the one at home 5 days a week!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 15:09

how exciting Kayz- ttc together again... and possibly being PG together too!!!

Kayzr · 07/09/2009 15:11

Yay!!!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 15:17

can't get too excited though, she may say no to my offer yet anyway.... and its along time between then and now.

Kayzr · 07/09/2009 15:23

That's true. You could always have a 4th

essenceofSES · 07/09/2009 15:24

Hi! Back from O's jabs. All ok and in fact he didn't scream as much as last time!

Can't & Kay - exciting!!!

Gruff & GYo - enjoy your afternoon!

Diege - how's DD3 getting on with the movicol?

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 15:25

haha- your so funny Kayz- NOT!! no way of a 4th!! can't fit another in this house anyway (well not unless i could guarrentee another girl), and defo can't afford to move to a biggerhouse.... so no thanks!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/09/2009 15:26

Afternoon Ses- glad O's fine after his jabs- i really hate the jabs!!

Diege · 07/09/2009 15:26

The pair of you... Well, at the moment no.4 is my last, but you know there's a teeny tiny chance that we may give no.5 a go at some point (though it would very much be a long shot as I'm 40 next year and would want J to be a few years old before ttc). I know everyone will think I'm mad (least of all dh when I tell him ) just feel I'm not 'done' yet...On the other hand, if nothing were to happen that would be fine too, so quite a nice position to be in!

essenceofSES · 07/09/2009 15:28

Diege - at 5!

Diege · 07/09/2009 15:29

Hi SES! Glad jabs went well - Owen must be an old hand at them now! Re: dd3's movicol, we have had ONE poo after a total of 9 sachets!!! So some movement at least. Nursery are being really good too, and are helping with the regime etc. Back on Friday to see the nurse and consultant (meaning we miss first Jo Jingles class, boo!!)
