Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Great to log on and see some good news.

Huge congratulations ladylush. Well done you and you are a complete hero with expressing all that milk.

Daffodil - great news about your Mum.

Blue - just to comfort you that when I had DD two years ago, the policy at Arrowe Park was very definitely that your baby stayed with you at all times. Everywhere your baby goes eg. check ups, vit K injection etc, you go with it. They do not take them away at anytime. It looks like they've had a change thank goodness as it sounds like you had a nightmare last time.

blue76 · 18/07/2009 15:38

Ladylush bloody ell woman, you had us all worried sick! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Hey that's a good weight too! Glad to hear you're both doing well. Take care and keep in touch.

Wheelybug · 18/07/2009 15:42

gatecrashing as have been keeping a look out for Ladylush ! Congratulations !!! Glad all is going ok.

good luck everyone else !

blue76 · 18/07/2009 15:43

cautious Thanks for letting me know - that's a relief! Hopefully won't have to go there at all...It wasn't so much that it was a nightmare - I just hated being separated from her. One of ex Hs friends popped his head in and thought I hadn't had her [I still looked pg] cos she wasn't with me!

audreyraines · 18/07/2009 16:22

congrats ladylush, hope all going okay. xxx

Minshu · 18/07/2009 16:38

Congratulations, ladylush!!! So pleased to hear from you! Hope that you and she are doing well. (Hope I don't start crying with every birth announcement on here, or I'll have to get my coat... )

Glad to hear your good news, too, Daffodilli.

You're not alone, bigbang. DP and I are no further forward on baby names. Hoping to have a couple more months to think about it. And decorate nursery. And buy a travel system, a cot, some baby clothes, etc, etc.

I'm effectively part time from now on, so having an extra day or two during the week should give me time to get on with some of these things. I hope.

Hope you can take things easy, Neddie.

My belly button is still vaguely concave, but it's thinking about popping and I'm getting a bit of a line.

Thusnelda · 18/07/2009 17:07

Ahh, congratulations Ladylush, glad you're both doing well. Hopefully she'll get the hang of drinking directly from the source soon! All the best xxx

LizLemon · 18/07/2009 21:15

Oh ladylush that's such fantastic news - so glad to hear that all's going well with your dd, and more power to you for all that expressing.

daffodilli great news too about your mum - fingers crossed the treatment goes well for her

TheTickListQueen · 18/07/2009 22:52

Congrats Ladylush - hope things continue to go well.

daffodilli · 19/07/2009 09:14

Thanks for the lovely messages everyone! Was a big relief

Am so pleased with Ladylush's news, had to reach for the tissues yesterday it's so lovely!

blue76 · 19/07/2009 09:15

We went to see Harry Potter last night. Baby was jumping around [maybe too loud for her??]. I thought they missed loads out, but can't work out what...it seemed to be all about Ron and Harry's romances??

Has anyone else had a 4D ultrasound yet?

LizLemon · 19/07/2009 14:32

Haven't had a 4d ultrasound but when we had the 20 wk scan the lovely man switched the view to the 3d image and gave us a print out (I thought this was normal for Kings until my midwife pointed out it really wasn't, but she knows the man who did it and said he's very nice indeed.) Have put the picture on my profile if you want to see it.

We've been to the recycling place once today already and are gearing up for another go. God we've got a lot of crap.

LJ29 · 19/07/2009 16:27

LJ29 · 19/07/2009 16:27

LittleCheese · 19/07/2009 21:01

TigerFeet · 19/07/2009 21:02

Oh Ladylush, many congratulations . Such a relief to hear from you.

Good news for Daffodilli too

I became a Godmother today [proud], to my friends' adorable little girl.

I have a week off work now, time to get stuck into sorting the house out. I really can't be arsed though. We have a lot of crap too.

Ladyem · 19/07/2009 21:08

Huge congratulations Ladylush!!!

So glad you are both ok! Keep us updated!

Neddie · 20/07/2009 08:54

Congratulations ladylush on the birth of your little girl. She seems a good weight for her gestation. - I am trying to hang on till 34 weeks when my partner is here from Germany for 10 weeks. I still don't have an outy belly button -how weird.

BabyLady · 20/07/2009 09:41

Wow, what a morning pick up! Congrats Lush - great weight for the early arrival. Looking forward to hearing a bit more about it when you get a chance to breathe again!

Great news about your Mum too Daff.

DH is away for work until Friday in Hamburg, fingers crossed for no early arrivals this week. 35 weeks on Wednesday and I am seeing the doctor this Wednesday for normal check up. Will be interesting to see whether baby is any further engaged. I feel like it must be as I keep getting sudden pressure on my bladder which would suggest there is something down there pushing on it!!!

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend

nitnat84 · 20/07/2009 10:21

Morning Ladies!

mumtobe23 · 20/07/2009 10:48

Morning ladies, wow so great to log on and read all the good news! Congratulations to the two new early additions, hope their both doing well...its all seeming so real now &

I too have been getting pressure on my bladder babylady i was told last monday baby was still head down so every time she kicks her head's bouncing on my bladder!

Feeling very emotional these last few days (I'm 33+3 days) everyone in RL seems to either irritate me or upset me!
Feels like every day is dragging now, somtimes I just wish july would hurry up and finish & august flys by! Then i think about what is to come and want time to slow down even more!

Only 2 weeks & 1 day till i finish woohoo!
