I think you may be on to something

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/03/2009 13:23

How do you like your eggs in the morning??

Fertilised or un fertilised

SpringySunshine · 24/03/2009 13:24

After the last few months? Unfertilised, every time

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 13:24

Oooh Springy / MM think I have just found it, my cervix is quite low (about 1.5-2inches in max) but the hole (feels more like a dent) is towards the back in the centre, which is a bit harder to reach but not to contortionist levels! There's a definite dip which when prodded is very hard like a head (to which I can get two finger tips in fairly easily) - TMI alert - I also emerged with a load of gunk! Am I doing an MM and pulling out my plug . Have a lot of pain now from doing that tho!!! Does that sound right?

Springy I actually went up to the bedroom today to change the sheets and realised that we only changed them sunday and was disappointed I didn't have enough laundry to do a white load! It's so sad! My problem is our house is genuinely pretty tide, we clear up every day and do a big clean every weekend so there is nothing to do!!! I want to nest!!! Have rearranged my toiletries in the bathroom, cleaned the dishes, had lunch and I have finished my work (albeit I am waiting on some small bits to come back from clients etc) and have everything prepared bar the salad ready for dinner tonight. Any suggestions as to what to do now?? Apart from MN and cervix prod?

See BB you and springy just don't get it do you. I provide a service for those in need of nesting without the facilities to do it

I have an image of bb looking like little jack horner

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/03/2009 13:26

BB - sounds like you have disrupted your plug!! congratulations

LuLu - thanks for all the tips. The Isabella Plantation looks great. We just joined the RHS as well so can take DD to Wisley. Mind you, she just walks around turning all the signs so nobody can read them!

When we took her to Bocketts Farm she was totally freaked out by the rabbits and wouldn't go anywhere near them but that was last summer so she'll be better now I am sure.

Have actually been wondering if I should use the opportunity of being at home with her to try and potty train her. Mind you she might revert back to nappies as soon as LO is born so not sure it's worth the effort.

Bronze - sorry to hear bug is still hanging around. I don't want my baby yet either! Eggy recipes - tortilla, frittata, quiche, cake, just hard boil them and they'll keep for a while in the fridge?

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 13:32

Bronze you laugh but I was kind of wondering around the house trying to find things to do! - I need to hoover but wont do that until before DH comes home we (stupidly) have very very light carpets and they pick up dirt so easily!

Thanks Nutty, I am very proud, was like a mix of normal discharge and light brown gooey gunk - (bet you all enjoyed that image didn't you!!! )

SpringySunshine · 24/03/2009 13:32

Oooh, BB, you have plug! The race is definitely on now Come here & help me nest (I have plenty to do!) & we'll see if we can exert ourselves into labour (& then visit bronze when we're done here!)

My sad admission of the day is that I wish I had more than one washing machine

at Little Jack Horner.

Schulte · 24/03/2009 13:34

Springy and BB well done on the nesting. You could come here and help me clear my cupboards. I also need some batch cooking done please.

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 13:34

Bronze, sorry if I missed it but what did the hospital say was wrong with DS?

ooh Schultes that might be an idea - even if you get to the first few stages with her!

Schulte · 24/03/2009 13:35

I did my cupboards at the weekend (to the point where the food is stacked in size order!!!) - the only thing that really needs doing is inside the cooker but I don't want to do that as the fumes from the cleaner really affect me when I am not pregnant let alone 9 months gone (I can say that now as I only have 5 days left!!!) I refuse despite my urge to do any more to the bathroom as the damn thing is being ripped out in a week! Will resist the urge, bounce on my ball and then have a quick dust and hoover before DH gets home tonight!

Yes but Springy my plug is not emerging on it's own, I have to pull it out and by the sounds of it, your cervix has turned much more than mine and is almost in the right position so think you will still be before me!!!

bronze · 24/03/2009 13:38

hes torn his bowel (they think) which to me sounds horrendous but there you go.

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 13:39

Pulling the plug would be a good thread title!!!

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 13:39

Oh so what do they do now? just let it heal by itself?

BabyBolat · 24/03/2009 13:40

I'm getting a bit over-excited on my ball and just got all light-headed!!!

bronze · 24/03/2009 13:41

I'm going to try and spend this week getting back on top then I can call in my paid cleaning team to come and do a kim and aggie for me. I want the place lovelybut theres too much and don't have enough energy (or time)

LuLuBai · 24/03/2009 13:41

Hello - after a measly half hour of chores I realised I was hungry so made a sarnie and came back here. Only to read about BBs mucus findings.

BB if you are running out of things to clean kitchen bins are always needing doing. Also kitchen cupboard doors. I cleaned and disinfected all of them last week and they look to me like they could do with another clean.

Failing that I will send DD and the cat over to you and they will keep you in cleaning chores forever (cat hocks up about 3 fur balls on a good day).

Schulte - LOL @ your DD and the plant signs. Last time I took my DD to Petersham Nurseries (another nice place to take kids - they often have activities on too) she went round changing all the plant signs, leaving me following after her trying to work out what was what and put everything back in the right place. But no doubt some people are going to be very surprised by what they grow in their gardens

bronze · 24/03/2009 13:42

oh yes my vote for next thread title too

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/03/2009 13:42

Bronze - ooohh yikes, though apparently thats quite common due to their bowels being quite soft so if it was a hard poo and he strained too much, that may have been enough. poor thing

OP posts:
LuLuBai · 24/03/2009 13:44

Oh Bronze - torn bowel! I missed that posting. That will have to operated won't it (my grandmother had a perforated bowel). How awful for you.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/03/2009 13:44

Pulling the plug it is then just remind me (or whoever) closer to the time!!
