Hi Ladies,
Was on this thread at the beginning, but got deleted because I didn't post much, just lurked.
I'm 34+4 now, and still here, lol. DD2 was induced at 35+3 because she had stopped growing between 33 & 35 weeks. So I am having scans every 2 weeks.
Last scan on Monday OK, although I thought my amniotic fluid seemed to be dropping a bit fast. The midwife scanning me was quite new to scanning, and didn't seem very sure of herself. The measurements she came up with were Ok, but she did them a couple of times, and I can't help thinking that she just kept going until she got results that fitted with my dates, so to speak .
I saw my lovely community midwife today, and my fundal height is still WAY behind. I am almost 35 weeks and my FH is 28cm. She agreed with me that there has to be something too small in there. I know Fundal Height isn't massively accurate, but 7 cms is a lot to be behind, even still. It has only increased by 1cm in the last month.
She has told me to go to the ward if I am at all concerned about baby's movements. She said even if I am there everyday, it is better than taking the risk of there being something wrong and it being missed. Next scan a week Tuesday at 36+1.
Exciting to see that things are happening for some of you! Are any of you going to use cloth nappies at all? After 2 DC, and 2 pregnancies saying "I'd like to try reusables" I have finally taken the plunge and ordered 24 Bum Genius nappies. I am going to take DD2 (19mo) out of disposables, and have both her and the baby in cloth. Worked out that even with the outlay, I will save at least £700 overall.
Hope you are OK, Oddeyes...
