indeedy

ooooohhhh you can get fanjo physio?? fab am gonna book myself in there pronto once the rest is sorted!! not that dh has complained or anything but still ...have to invest in aquaflex too methinks.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/02/2009 22:53

Boffin yep it does, like having a mini clearout post bath?!?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/02/2009 22:54

lol there really is nothing we wont share on this thread lol

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 22:59

I did wonder where the wee actually comes from, because I always go to the loo before getting into the bath, IYSWIM. Maybe the urethra has its own little clear out. But then why does the dilute wee seem to be coming out of the fanjo area???? I am truly baffled by this.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 25/02/2009 23:10

Just saying hi everyone! Seem to be having lots of braxton hicks today - ugh! Not very comfortable ones either. I'm sure I had them before for a while before actually having baby, but 2 years ago seems a long time to remember! Anyway, very uncomfortable too - which I never got toooo badly with other 2 children! Guess bigger baby & I'm more tired out!

Hope everyone else is OK! xx

purlease · 25/02/2009 23:11

Hi girls, I'm going to opt out of the buddy system as I'd hate anyone to have to depend on me in the next few weeks.

I'm hoping to stay connected once I finish work by either visiting library or using DH's laptop in the evening.

By the way, faith in humanity today was strenghtened - a woman gave up her seat for me on the tube and as I walked towards Trafalgar Square a man in a van asked me if I was okay to get wherever I was going.

About time someone noticed my bump - in the last week 2 of my neighbours were surprised when I told them that I am pregnant - do they think I've just been eating lots of pies?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/02/2009 23:12

i know what you mean, tis a bit odd, though i guess on the plus side we have very clean fanjo's and urethra's

also i suppose if you can get wee out of said ureathra you can get a bit of water in there too??? and it comes out as a 2 for one rinse??

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 23:16

LOL Nutty!
A very hairdresser joke that!

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 23:22

Off to bed now ladies. Night night.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/02/2009 23:29

Night Boffin xx

Rachel - hope they ease off a bit for you ((hugs))

Purlease - yay for nice people they are out there thanks for letting us know

conkertree · 26/02/2009 09:22

morning everyone - how are all the BH today?

my last morning at work for who knows how long - although officially till December/January.

oh my colleagues are going to love me as I drop piles of files on their desks.

PuzzleRocks · 26/02/2009 09:51

Good morning

Hopefully today is a better day for everyone?

Oddeyes - All good names but I particularly like Eve, Beatrice (Bea is very cute), Isobel, Elisabeth, and Ella. If we ever have a third daughter I may go with Beatrice Isobel.

Trista - Great news about DP, men just need a gentle push in the right direction sometimes. Sorry to hear about DS.
And poor you. Lets hope you get a chance to recouperate properly today.

Rachel - I seem to be having them much sooner than I did with DD.

Purlease - You must have a lovely neat bump. . When I was 8 months pregnant with DD I was in a hardware store wearing a long coat and the assistant was very cheekily flirting wth me. After a few minutes I got hot so took of my coat and he looked utterly mortifed.

Conker - Last day, how exciting.

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 10:08

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

What are you trying to do to us poor innocent first timers!!! reconstruction?!! scratching?!!

Morning conker - yay for last day at work.

I have had a pretty productive day yesterday. Spoke to work and I am not only working 2 days a week in the office (for meetings only) and the rest of the time I will be working at home. My bosses even asked if there was ANYTHING ELSE they could do to make my last few weeks more comfortable at work (I really had to hold my tongue!)

Also spoke to DH about names last night and he was in a bit of a childish mood but we did agree that we would both think of names we both like and tomorrow night come to an agreement of 5 names that we would consider for the baby and then decide when the LO actually comes!!

Re BH back in full swing today (along with nausea which is new was right back in the first few weeks of pregnancy this morning, waking up and running down the stairs to be sick!! but also felt like LO was dragging his or her fingers across my pelvis this morning, was in SOOO much pain,

Purlease yay for nice people - I have had a seat on the train 2 days in a row with people ACTUALLY moving for me! (I must be huge now )

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 10:10

Trista, how you feeling today - so sorry about your hospital stay xx

BoffinMum · 26/02/2009 10:21

Hello all. Just been to chiro and apparently everything is in spasm, so that is why it's got worse. She was very thorough though and clicked lots of things and massaged all the sore bit, so hopefully there will be some improvement.

Very tired this morning. A former colleague is supposed to be dropping by for coffee/lunch (we will hopefully go out) but while it will be lovely to see her it will involve summoning up the energy to do so.

AP being outstandingly helpful. I obviously have put the fear of god into the poor girl.

conkertree · 26/02/2009 10:58

great that your bosses are taking it a bit more seriously now bb - might mean you can work up to the point you wanted too without it causing too much extra stress and then you get all the time afterwards.

boffinmum - hope the chiro means you have an easier day - can you not stay in for coffee - or are you desperate to escape the four walls?

oddeyes - like your name choices - i am slightly biased but like Elisabeth - although one thing that I have always loved about the name is that I had a name with a Z in it - but the s does look pretty too.

conkertree · 26/02/2009 11:03

sorry boff read your post properly - i see you want to get out. hope its a nice lunch to make the extra effort worth it.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/02/2009 11:05

MOrning

Conker - lol you should put big ribbons and bows round them "a gift before i go" enjoy mat leave YAY! happy mat leave to you!

Puzzle- Hardwear assistant lol

BB - it's not all like that honest, you might be fine xx yay for getting names on a shortlist with your dh and yay for your bosses thats fantastic sorry the bh & nausea are back though i really do think you havent got long now xx (i have a feeling in me bones lol)

Boffin - boo for spasm but yay for chiro ((hugs)) and FINALLY your AP decides to be useful hurrah

BoffinMum · 26/02/2009 11:20

The lovely extravagent baby shawl I ordered has just come in the post. 100% knitted wool, cream ribbon threaded through, just hope I don't ruin it in the tumble drier like the last one ...

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 12:07

LOL 'a gift before I go!!!' That would be so very very funny - gwaaaaan conker I DARE YOU!!!

You say yay, I haven't actually seen the names yet - they may be horrendous and just cause more fights - last night he was coming up with hideous ones just to annoy me and make caravan sound more appealing!

How you feeling today - pain any better? Did you and DH have a nice night?

Oooh Boffin yum, maybe just hang this one out to dry !

BabyBolat · 26/02/2009 12:09

Tis very quiet on here today....

AuldAlliance · 26/02/2009 12:11

Hello everyone,
Have just had an e-mail from Frekkles and she said you'd been wondering where I was. Things have been a bit tough here and a bit frantic, so I've not had a chance to go anywhere near MN for weeks. Hopefully I'll have time to catch up or at least post a bit more often once I'm on maternity leave.
Hope everyone is OK and the SPD and other sufferers are not in too bad a way.
Only a matter of weeks, now!
Love to all...

PuzzleRocks · 26/02/2009 12:13

Auld - How the devil are you? Good to have you back.

OP posts:
Kalikaroo · 26/02/2009 12:17

Hi everyone - hope you're all having a good day so far!

One more day of work then I'm on maternity leave - woo hoo!

BoffinMum your shawl sounds lovely - my Mum is currently having a knitting frenzy and has just completed a very colourful blanket (I haven't seen it yet but apparently she used up all her odds and ends of wool with it....)

How can I find the motivation to actually DO anything today and tomorrow at work??? Also it's snowing here again and I'm so fed up of trudging through it to get to/from work - I keep thinking I'll fall over onto my bump. There's been snow here since before Christmas and I wish it would just bloomin' MELT!!!!

It'll be really nice to get back onto MN regularly and actually have time to get involved properly in conversations instead of flying in and out and generally lurking when I have 5 minutes free!

DH and I have come up with 2 girls names that we really like, but we're having serious difficulty with a boys name - DH is Greek and keeps suggesting names that just sound crazy to me...will we ever agree???

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
