The thread was getting far too long and taking ages to load.

London meet is a week away. I don't have to get the train until 10.30 this time Could someone tell me which tube line to get from Paddington?

lua - have you got messenger?

teabelly · 11/04/2005 14:48

LOL Lynny - pass that cyberwine over this way - seems to be good stuff!

Katz I was going to CAT but can't bloody remember my password, grrrr so can't send messages!

Lua · 11/04/2005 14:50

I can receive CAT, but I'm afraid I don't have messenger...
I can still get into the yahoo site (I think...) If that is easier!

MrsWednesday · 11/04/2005 14:52

I've been having a nose on some other threads and think I may know what you mean when you are talking about QC.

katzguk · 11/04/2005 15:04

Lua - you should get an email to your hotmail account explaining everything!!

Can you do the same for me too? Just tell me if I'm being too nosey!

teabelly · 11/04/2005 15:15

Feel awful now - like I've let the cat out of the bag. Lynny, not being deliberately evasive - QC is someone who's recently had some good news, but after a rough time recently is keeping a low profile for a while.

welshmum · 11/04/2005 15:20

So pleased about qc - really top news and lovely to hear from you too scraggy.
On a general moan - what is it about getting stuff done to the house and being pg?? There's Lippy's loft nightmare and Tea's plumbing horror story. I've decided not to have anything done to our garden as I know I'd be looking out the window surveying a complete tip while workmen stomp in and out of the house making a mess and it would drive me nutty. Maybe it's our very obvious sense of a looming deadline.
Thank goodness Jonahb's got a carpet fitter to look at - who presumably won't take months to complete???

teabelly · 11/04/2005 15:23

He he - mind you if he's that tasty he can come around mine and be months on the job!!! Got to be better than my Michael Howard looky likey plumber!!!!!

welshmum · 11/04/2005 15:26

I think I'll just ask dh to wear his tool belt more often - that'll have to do until after June, mind you once the baby arrives don't think I'll be that interested in any action....although I'm guessing that it didn't take you long to get 'back in the saddle' tea?

katzguk · 11/04/2005 15:35

right before this thread gets all dirty, i'm going to start a new one up!!!

Lua · 11/04/2005 15:36

Welshie you are a wise woman. If I was half as wise I would cancel the building work that is supposed to start next week and be done before baby arrives....
But I am as stubborn as I can be! So stay tuned for lots of moans in the near future about how the work is not progressing!

I also wish I have half as much "energy" as you and teabelly (Jonah and Lynny too!). I cannot even be bother about thinking about it. I'll have to tell DS that he was indeed a miracle...

welshmum · 11/04/2005 15:38

Lua - I'll ask him to wear his toolbelt - doesn't mean anything necessarily follows

Hi

Sorry to go over old ground with regards the Jane Matrix car seat but I'm still confused. I really want to buy one because of the "lie flat mechanism". I've seen several threads on Mumsnet, including this one, which mentions the Matrix being a Best Buy in the latest Which report. The Jane website itself states its a Which best buy. However, I'm a Which subscriber and the latest car seat trial (updated April 2005) has no mention of the Matrix and has repeated its warning about how dangerous Carrycot style car seats are mentioning the M&P Navetta and Bebecar carrycot tracker.

CharleyPops - could you tell me where you got the info on this seat being a Which best buy?

Thanks!!
