did you get to have a look at LoveHoney in the end LuLu?

BabyCRIMBOlat · 03/12/2008 20:41

Evening everyone!

Springy and Boffin - Glad you are still around!

LuLu love the name for springy - the only other one is Springlebells but that is kind of changing it a bill too much!!!

Ah Springy ex/friends/feelings.... you get that dress and go out looking hot and pregnant with his child!!!

Swaliswan, I think for the sake of the group you should just lie to us and tell us you are a real heffer who has put on 3 stone!!! (hee hee )

DH is being nosey at all our new Christmas names (to which he has assumed that we are all just like kids ourselves) so am off to feed him and then maybe he will pipe down!!!

Hope everyone is feeling ok.

SantasNuttySTaff · 03/12/2008 20:54

dh just made bacon sarnies for tea (lovelovelovelovehimsoVVVmuchrightnow) yum yum yum yummy

got gaviscon chew tablets cos no liquid (not so great) YUKKKKKKKYYYYYYYY plegh plegh plegh

SnowySunshine · 03/12/2008 22:41

As funny as your suggestion was LuLu, I think I'll stick with this one - it's not the most radical change, but probably the least confusing for our tired, pregnancy-addled brains (I pretty much just mean mine )

BabyCRIMBOlat (love that name), of course I'm still around! You won't ever manage to shake me off now. I'm like a sticky thing that won't unstick. & yes, I'm going to look amazing. She used to bug me, but she doesn't have his baby wriggling around in her tummy or even live with him, so I win. Although it sometimes doesn't feel like much of a victory

Nutty, please can I borrow your DH? He seems lovely. & makes yummy bacon sarnies. He can come & make my hair fabulous & be patient with my many annoying pregnancy symptoms & lots of moaning for an hour or two, then make me bacon sandwiches & be straight back on his way to you! He'll be as good as new, I promise. & I have my new... friend... to ensure that I won't have to use him for anything else. I'll be a good girl, honestly

SantasNuttySTaff · 03/12/2008 22:50

supply internet and xbox or he get withdrawl symptoms really bad (v grumpy and shakes alot), supply coffee milk 2 sugars at regular intervals, oh and he likes a "power nap" at about six

enjoy

SantasNuttySTaff · 04/12/2008 09:39

Good Morning Lovelies

i had a funny thought last night (well it amused me) if we all did a meet up, i guess we would all tell each other our RL names but i personally dont think i would rememer them they would fly out of my head even with all the best intention or remembering them and i would still call you LuLu, BB, Boffin, Springy etc

am i on my own or would anyone else find it difficult? lol

ooooooohhhh just noticed festive smileys hurahh

hollytree · 04/12/2008 09:39

my goodness so its turned into a husband swapping website - guess that what the april ladies are getting up to next .

think i'll keep mine just now though - had a really nice evening finishing off our toilet roll tube advent calendar (in the shape of a tree - little present for dh, me and ds alternately hidden behind cotton wool) - its painted green and looks all festive. so had one of those nice cuddly evenings which was great.

anyway - lulubai - the things on the website may have been around forever and i just may be young and naive - but i certainly never came across them before no matter how much sex and the city i watched - basically recepticles (meant to look life like) for men to use - equivalent to the rabbit for women i suppose but there is something about them that just seems grim. maybe i'm just too much of a prude i dont know. but very definitely for looking at on a home rather than work computer.

hollytree · 04/12/2008 09:41

santasnuttytaff - i am on the babies born in August 07 postnatal club and we had a small meetup a month or two ago - just me and my sister (who had a baby 9 days after me) and another woman from our area - the fourth couldnt make it. So we found out each others real names - but i have to think carefully to remember hers - she is still my2weegirls to me, so yes i think a meet up would be odd.

you also get a picture in your head of people, and seeing them in real life can be quite different i think.

BabyCRIMBOlat · 04/12/2008 09:45

DH swapping - Does anyone want mine!! That is if you can stand the snoring and heavy breathing that has kept me up since 4!!!

On the plus side, he is a good cook, very protective, gives good foot massages and is pretty nice to look at xxx

Nutty, I would have no chance - think you will always be Nutty/Springy etc.

frekkles · 04/12/2008 09:47

i think they ones that look like torches are dead funny, the equivalent of lipstick vibrators i guess. Today I'm feeling like I may have to get one for my bloke for christmas if this bloody thrush doesn't clear up. completed a course of canesten now (which I was so relieved to hear the midwife say I could use) and it hasn't made any difference at all ...grrrrrr....

i must confess ladies, I have no idea how to change my name or what to change it to. any helpers?

i think i suddenly look hugely pregnant today too. hmmmmm

BabyCRIMBOlat · 04/12/2008 09:49

festivefrekkles, frek-klause hmmm it's quite a hard one!!!

SantasNuttySTaff · 04/12/2008 09:52

Holly - i adore the advent calender and i havent even seen it....sounds lovely how cool

i think i would have to dress up as a squirrel as per that dream for a meet up lol

some male toys can be a bit dangerous too ...... another embarrasing disaster involving an ex, and some of them are just downright wierd (and yep quite grim) but it takes allsorts, whatever floats your boat i guess as long as its not harming anyone of course

frekkles · 04/12/2008 09:54

by the way, on the meeting folk from the internet front. I must confess I have experience in this area. I actually first met my bloke through a message board (although love didn't flourish for a couple of years after metting in real life). A whole group of us in 2004 became good friends through a message board and started regularly meeting up. Some people have now adopted their internet names as permanent real life nicknames, some people even though I know there real names I could never consider calling them anything else. Some people's internet names ere abandoned quite quickly. Personally I used my real name as my internet name as I was really inexperienced and didn't realise that you had to pick a daft one, so i never had the weird experience of being called someone else. But the meet ups we had were surreal to say the least. "hello are you kittypants? I'm lazarou monkey terror!! can I introduce you to lambchops and strawberryfields?" fun though. so many of those people are now my best friends.

frostyfrekkles · 04/12/2008 10:18

there you go!

merry advent y'all x

baublerella · 04/12/2008 10:41

Morning Ladies!

I have BabyCRIMBOlat to thank for my new Xmas name...you are too clever for words

BoffinMum - am having my hair done today (bad regrowth!!) so hope it turns out as well as yours.

SnowySunshine - lovely dresses on Isabella Oliver website. Can't wait to hear about dp's reaction when you introduce him to your new 'friend'.

SantasNuttyTaff - I'm going to make bacon sarnies for lunch now after reading about yours...yumm

Is anyone else burping all the time? I keep forgetting I'm not at home and doing it whilst walking along the street etc. How can one person produce so much gas, continuously??

Also, got on the bus last night and some man looked at my stomach and said "I know what you've been doing!" WTF??? Should I have replied, "What, you know I injected myself with fertility drugs for six weeks, had an operation to collect eggs then had fertilized embryos put up my fanjo with a catheter three days later??" Not really a killer/witty comeback, is it....

hollytree · 04/12/2008 10:56

lol baublerella - would have been very funny to see his face - thats what i mean about witty comebacks - i wish i was the sort who could come up with them, but i am sadly lacking in that department.

love all the new names. am going to try and finish shopping this weekend - off to the ballet to see Sleeping Beauty tomorrow - havent been to a ballet for years - am really looking forward to it.

frekkles - those are the ones i mean - i suppose they are no worse looking that the rabbits or the more realistic looking ones, but i just never knew such a thing existed

hollytree · 04/12/2008 10:57

oh just re-read your post baublerella - i thought it was quite witty - even if its what actually happened, it would have wiped the smile off his face.

frostyfrekkles · 04/12/2008 10:58

hahahaha... that's hilarious baublerella.

SantasNuttySTaff · 04/12/2008 11:00

Baublerella -lol you so should have said it
