hi ladies, congratulations to all the latest new mums, I can't keep up anymore! gorgeous photos Kaz!

well it's my due date tomorrow so had an apt with MW today, plenty of contractions but very much closed downstairs so go back on tues for same checks and if no change I'm then to be booked in on thurs to start me off! I can't help thinking it's all a bit too soon but that's how they do it over here. just hope baby doesn't mind too much, bless.

hope you're all ok and not getting too fed up, I can't believe the size of the 'babies arrived' part of the list now, seems so strange seeing it grow each day! I'm going to miss my daily read on here lol!

Congratulations to all the new mums and Kaz loving the photos.

My due date not until Tuesday but I woke up at 11:40pm and wet myself, neither DH nor I certain whether I am now incontinent or my waters broke. Having very bad period like cramp with shooting pains in my legs every 10 minutes now and have just had a pink tinged show. So practice or real thing? Only time will tell. Apparently I am suppose to sleep thru this bit to conserve energy but lying down makes it hurt more so I am just boucing on my ball surfing internet whilst DH tries to get some sleep!
Trying to work out whether an excel worksheet of the times of contractions is just TOO geeky and control freaked even for me.

Anyone else up?

Still here, it would have been going better if I hadn't pressed F5 and lost it all
Main contractions (I should be saying surges due to hynobirthing!) every 10 minutes lasting approx 1 minute and then some sort of mini-contraction at the halfway point of those 5 minutes which lasts about 20 seconds.
All very odd, hope this is it but there are some on this thread who have had painful contractions during the night but are still pregnant!

Are you not based in UK or just don't need much sleep?

SK - Poor you - hope you and DH managed to clear the air, and that he has a lovely baby Birthday present today....I think someone who hasn't been pg just can not possibly imagine what it is we all go through. That's why MN is such a help to us all.

I am officialyy overdue now. and can just see the whole week stretching ahead of me. I know it sounds silly, but before my due date I was expecting LO every day - I really thought I would be early like with DD, but now due date has been and gone I think it's going to be at least another week (like DS 12 days late). Feeling really low.

Morning everyone nothing here good few BHs last night and stabbing fanjo pains but thats about it.

Libra1975 - sounds like the start of it to me, exactly what happened with my DD1 thought I had wet myself MN said no you silly woman get yourself to hospital, pinkish tinge show and she was born later that night. So hope it's the same for you and you have a beautiful baby by now.

EEC - so know what you mean, I thought oh early and after 2 false labours I'm resigned to her being very late now, I was 12 days too with DD2.

gilly - Happy Due Date to you, keep in mind 5% of babies arrive on their due date but msot arrive by 41 weeks, thats only 7 days.

I did contraction master on Thursday night it's very good I was getting pains every 5-7 minutes lasting 30-45 seconds and then nothing, stubborn little girl.

DP and I had a long chat last night and all is kind of smoothed over, he's got a new Wii game to keep him happy today. I think it's hard for him as he is used to being flat out at work, coming home and working at night too now he's doing nothing but waiting. Not like a normal holiday where we would be going places and doing loads either.

Hope we get a few more birth announcements today

Haven't heard from CLiC for a while hope she is OK I know she was supposed to be having her section today.

Well my due date was Sat.... been and gone with nothing!

Very bored with waiting now. Had plenty of shooting/stabbing pains down below that make me jump up abit when sitting down, but no contractions as such.

Sorry to worry you guys... Not been on the PC much this weekend. I saw an old friend on sat who is into Jigsaws and she has got me hooked too so spent most of the weekend doing jigsaws which has actually really helped take my mind off the waiting.
Ive nearly finished one so baby needs to hurry up or ill have to buy more.

I added a couple of 40 week pics to my Facebook page.. Feeling very fat, heavy and fed up..... sorry to moan. Other overdues feel the same?

Well im booked in for a sweep first thing Wed morning so a chance of something happening this week. Not looking forward to it though as a friend said it hurt and made her labour more intense... Any experiences anyone??

SWEETKITTY - glad you and DH are okay now.
We have chosen Calvin Thomas for a boy and Poppy Skye (although the middle name is what we are arguing about but I shall have my way). I wanted Saffron - it got vitoed, I then chose Poppy Scarlet - vitoed so Skye it is!

I am getting a bit scared about all your talk of going late - My Mum has been here since last Monday now and will need to go home at some point! Want her here when bubba arrives.

Awake all last night again - strong contractions form 3am to 6am - no pattern, then fell asleep and gone! DH and I even forced ourselves to try the prostoglandin method this morning ( luckily it didn't take long ) so having tight contractions across back and tum. Still a bit though - so different feeling from Amber. Weird how it feels different even though you are pregnant again IYKWIM.

Anway need to go and rest just in case I have a long night ahead - hope you are all well and sending popping vibes to those who want to receive them.

Hi everyone, can't keep up with the thread anymore so congrats to all new mums! Have seen a lot of photos, all the babies are gorgeous!

My ds2 was born a few days early which really suited me fine as both ds1 and dd were overdue.

I had a water birth as planned and Fred came to the world weighing 8lbs 6oz and with loads of black hair.
So far he seems to be a good boy and he's super cute but I seem to be a mess.

Anyway I have posted a photo of him, good luck to all of us

Friend of mine had a little boy on Saturday, first baby...9lb 8oz!!!! OUCH!

Found out I can pick my new car up on Saturday...just need LO to stay put another week...feeling very odd today so am hoping she doesn't have other plans!
