Nothing doing here ladies, felt like SHITE yesterday, could hardly move, bump was so heavy and legs ached so much, so glad I didn't go into labour! Woke up today feeling wonderful, DH took me out for posh breakfast and we're now putting stuff in the loft in the final push to get things sorted.
'Due' date tomorrow! Happy due date to EEC!!! It's such a silly thing as I believe only 5% come on their assigned date (mum said I did!!) Trying not to get preoccupied with it (she says, eating pineapple and drinking RL tea!!)

Just added a couple of pictures of Maisie to my profile.

She was weighed on Friday and has lost a lb so is having to be topped up with formula. MW is weighing her again tomorrow so hopefully she will have put some on.

Hi All, just to let you know that Logan Gabriel John arrived yesterday morning (12th) at 5.25am after a slightly longer labour than I expected - 11 hours from first real twinge but only 4 hours from arriving at the birthing centre (5cm dilated then). Only 10 minute second stage though and only a small first degree tear. Didn't have a home birth as not enough midwives but happy with that given the noise I made! Midwives were fab, DH was fab, best friend was fab.

He was 8lb 3,5ozs which made me wince a bit. Feeds well but am not great at bf so I must try harder.

Congrats all other new mums and good luck for the due and overdue.

Oh Donutmum that is fabulous news, 3 wee boys and a great name too DP wanted Logan if we ever had a boy.

Can't believe I have to update the list again tonight with two new baby boys c'mon ladies we need some girls.

Today is my due date by my LMP but 2 scans put me at the 9th ....looks like we were all wrong

Have been bouncing on my ball today and doing bits of gardening ...as well as the natural prostaglandins method (not all at the same time obv )in an effort to get things going but nothing doing ...again

Congrats Mummywannabe, Cass, Donutmum, Silversixpence.

WOW - loads of boys best not tell my Mum as she is really wanting us to pop out a boy!

Went to garden centre today in vain attempt to walk lots and try to get bubba out - no good. Was too uncomfy to walk -and bubba has been wriggling and moving and whacking me all day. Ended up sitting on my bum whilst Mum took DD around trying not to fall asleep.

JODIE - thank you for your kind words - that was 5 years ago now - the wedding. You are a lovely soul to thank everyone - internet sites are trememdous for support. Amazing how kind complete strangers can be.

I hasten to add that I bought DD 8 pairs of shoes but 3 different sizes - so she can grow into them! Her feet, and the rest of her, grow at a rate of knots!

Does anyone else feel like that when they sneeze, cough or blow their nose that they are about to rutpure their insides? I keep expecting Dh to come into my room 1 night and find it like a scene from alien - where I have just exploded all over the bed!

I cannot believe how many boy to girls there is on here and so many new babies. I am feeling very tonight don't want to bring the thread down with all the congratulations and new babies. DP and I had a big argument and all I have done since is cry think it just released the floodgates. Am v with him apparently he is very bored in the house and all I talk about is mumsnet and babies. Poor him must be very frustrating for him. Anyway don't even want to look at him right now and it's his birthday tomorrow.

SWEETKIITY - poor you. men are such sods at times My DH is like a cat on a hot tin roof just now. He was hoping to be off work tomorrow but looks like he'll need to go in after all - he says he can't concentrate just now. It's bad enough waiting in for shopping or something to arrive but waiting for a bubba is a form of torture!!

I am mega irritable just now as well and a bit nasty to poor DH - we are also having the same argument re middle name for a girl. he doens't think it necessary - I do as I want both kids the same IYKWIM.

Despite having given myself acupuncture daily, foot massage stimulating points and aroma baths, pineapple - nothing doing here either and I so do not feel like the prostoglandin method! Think it would be too sore anyway - my undercarriage is swollen already with the extra blood and weight.

Anyway - I do hope you pop tonight and baby Bethany is beautiful and a great sleeper/eater/happy/chilled wee Angel

Thank you for your kind words Rumpel means a lot. I think he is just a bit frustrated as well TBH as theres nothing he can do.

I've done loads to try and kickstart things but nothing so have given up, sex just gave me a sleepless night and very painful contractions that came to nothing, I am of the opinion now that she just doesn't want to come out yet. Thats fine so long as I avoid going into hospital for an induction. DD2 was the exact same nothing shifted her and she ended up being 12 days late, I had no warning I was going into labour with her either.

I want to know your names now, I think you are going to have a boy as well although we do need some more girls on here.
