yes that is totally possible or are you short in height so it is easy for me to carry a humongous baby

ButterflyMcQueen · 22/06/2008 23:24

actually scrub that ...

it looks smaller on a tall person - this is not easy!

pigleychez · 22/06/2008 23:28

Im dreading how big this one is going to be.

Going by my 21 week scan, midwife said baby was big, had a big head and long legs.
That was a long time ago and bubbas had plenty of growing time since then.

107cm isnt a good sign!

sweetkitty think like on the boobs front I win that one measured 43cm early hours of morning when ended up in hospital again. Think I am incubating a elephant I know part of it is these bloody fibroids but I think LO is long because they are hiccuping on my perineum and have a foot up in my ribs

Kaz1967 · 22/06/2008 23:50

should be weeks not cm

jocesar · 23/06/2008 00:39

I wasn't feeling particularly big and have had lots of 'neat bump' commemts. I now know people have just been saying that to be kind to me as I measure 111cm at the widest point!

libralady · 23/06/2008 02:10

Measured myself before I went to bed and it was a whopping 113.5cm and people have been saying I'm small!

Don't want to get you ladies too excited, but my waters broke 10 minutes ago and I now getting some stronger pains, but not too bad yet.

Kaz1967 · 23/06/2008 03:49

libralady Great that means DH cannot possibly go to work doesn't it

AggiePanther · 23/06/2008 07:03

Ooh libralady good luck!!

sweetkitty · 23/06/2008 07:22

Just goes to show everyone is so different, bump shapes are so different, I'm really high which should be a boy (mmm) I have never dropped. I am hovering on the 2 stone weight gain barrier now. Couldn't care less how much I put on will have 3 under 5 do you think I won't lose it all again running after them all?

libralady - oh so excited maybe you have had your LO by now, hope so that would mean a quick on for you

jodie - no still not ordered P&T it's on the list to do before DP goes back to work

Right won't be on much today I'm getting released to go the the safari park today.

Will check in later to see libraladys birth announcement?

JODIEhavingababy · 23/06/2008 08:16

Just measured bump.... 117cm But in my defence (I'm not a fatty , just over 2 stone put on) baby is all up front and nothing round the Sides or back. So maybe I am carrying big then. I've been getting defensive!

Peanut73 · 23/06/2008 08:18

Good luck Libra!! Thinking of you!! xxx

gillythekid · 23/06/2008 09:16

Go Libra!!!!!
Got all down yesterday as I found stretch marks on either side just under my bump. Have been moisturising every day religiously from day one and thought I'd escaped. Have a really bad body image due to a very critical mother so hope I can stop obsessing soon and that the Bio oil goes a little way to minimise or fade them after the birth.
SPD really bad today, think it might be getting worse as baba moves down, soooo exhausted as sleep is so uncomfortable. Sorry for big moan.

mcchesers · 23/06/2008 09:34

Good luck Libra!! My mom phones me from the states asking about you. ha! She was in labour for 3 days with my oldest brother.

Gilly- You go on and moan. If you can't do it here, where else are you going to go? I found mine all under my belly button yesterday too and well spread out. My DH says not to worry, it's my badge of honour. I'm not so keen, but it will all work out and I never liked bikinis anyway.

Sleeping is a pain in the butt and dreams are getting scarier lately. I am dreading going to bed at night now. DH has been cleaning and scrubbing all day yesterday and the flat looks really nice. I just have to do a few things and we should be good to go for our viewer tonight. Then we can take it easy for a bit.

DH is selling concert tickets for a gig on weds..he says no way I am too close to by drop date and he doesn't want to chance it. I'm seriously crushed but am going to try and make it a nice night at home. Poor guy has given up everything to look after me.

pigleychez · 23/06/2008 09:34

oohhh Fingers crossed for Libra! Finally geting there

Had a bit of a down weekend Think ive hit the late pregnancy blues.
Feel very big and uncomfortable, babys movements cause the most intense pressure which can really hurt. Think im getting to the point where i want this baby out.
But then i start worrying about the actual labour even though im eager to meet this bubba.
Feels like a vicious circle!

Sorry to have a moan

Anyway we have a tour around the hospital delivery suite tonight so at least things wont be so scary if the place is familiar anyway.
You never know it might even encourage bubba along!
