Just starting the thread as suggested earlier (a lot earlier.... completely forgot!)

We need to put names down as to who can make the meet up on the 22nd Jan so we can book a table. (Obviously, I am hoping to be there!)

Marble Arch is the nearest tube stop. Although if you are coming from Waterloo it''s probably easier just to take the jubilee line to Bond Street and walk from there.

Charley, if you want we could meet at Waterloo and head up together? I'll be taking the train from Hampton Court into Waterloo. Haven't checked times yet. So can't tell you when just yet. WE are flexible. When are you heading up?

CHarleypops, if you got out at Piccadilly Circus would you know how to get to Leicester Square, i.e. visualise the road that conects the 2?? The road that links the 2 (Coventry St) is where TGI's is, on the left ( I think!!) as you walk from P Circus to L Square. However, P Circus has about 5 exits and I couldn't tell you what the right one would be called, sorry

Actually, before you leave the station, ask someone who works there which is the best exit for Coventry St and tell them where you're going, that's the best bet. It is literally a 2-300m walk, if memory serves me correct.

Uwila - don't know what time train I'll be getting because my computer's still playing up and I can't access South West trains website just yet... - what time will you be there? I'd love to meet up first!

Lippy - Leicester Square always gets me - I always come out the wrong exit! I'm sure we'll figure it out as we go along though....I'm gonna look a complete tourist!

Charley so do I after living in London for the 1st 24 years of my life. Definitely Picc Circus is closer ad definitely ask a Tube person which exit is right for Coventry St. Plus take your little map print out

Ok, either TGI's website or my MSN map has got the post code wrong. Just in case anyone else uses mappoint (online version of autoroute), look up the street address (25/29 Coventry) and NOT the post code I pasted below earlier. I think might actually be the guilty party as W1V doesn't sound right for that location.... anyway sorry for the confusion. Nearest Tube stop is in fact Picadilly.

DD and I shall depart Hampton Court on the 10:54, arrive Waterloo 11.34. That should give us a bit of a cushion, just in case trains/tubes run late, as they sometimes do.

Do you drive? Do you want to meet us at HAmpton Court? I like leaving from there because parking is always available and cheap.

It's a good thing you said something, Teabelly, or I might have been. And who knows how many would have followed me! We would have been a bunch of lots preggie women wandering around marble arch looking for a TGIF that doesn't exist!
