FarmBaby3 · 01/01/2023 20:09

We got our positive today. Looks like my due date would be 8th September going off period date but 14th September going off ovulation.

Anyone else get BFP for September baby?

@Loword I’ve had two so far, and they’re doing another today. Keep pushing to get yours, they’ve been great where I am, and have gone well over and above what I ever expected them to do.

Monday (4 weeks 1 day) hpg was 409
Wednesday (4 weeks 3 days) is was 1258

They also found I’ve got quite a bad UTI which is strangely reassuring as it gives me something to blame the pain on at least

Loword · 13/01/2023 08:57

@Caxmas oh they sound good!
I was 5 weeks on Tuesday and got 3+ on clear blue digital so over 2,600(I think the threshold starts at that or something) but only going by that!
where have you had pain? I am prone to Utis and when pregnant with my daughter(8 years ago) I had so many but didn’t even know!

krissy12 · 13/01/2023 11:40

booked my first midwife and scan appointment today starting to feel a bit more real now

FarmBaby3 · 13/01/2023 18:22

Got a 3+ on CB today so that's it. I'm stopping the peeing on cheap tests!! Midwife appointment booked for 1st Feb when I will be 9 weeks.

A wonderfully unique job opportunity came up at work on a temporary for 18 months contract. I would have loved it but half the contract I would be preggo brain and trying to avoid stress then the other 9 months I would be off 😂

I ordered some maternity leggings. My trusted favourites last twice have been Dorothy Perkins but they've stopped doing them :-( Anyone know of any decent navy blue maternity leggings?

@FarmBaby3 When I was pregnant with DS, Sainsbury's did some good ones, don't know if they still do though xx

FarmBaby3 · 14/01/2023 11:53

Ooh I look. I'm a sainsbos regular. My nectar email yesterday was eye opening... 111 visits to sainsbos last year. Eek.

Hope everyone’s doing ok! I have my early scan on 20th so impatiently counting down the days. I’ve estimated that I’m 5 weeks and 1 day and due around 15th September but they might tell me that’s totally wrong! I’m getting a lot of cramps feeling a little bit like period type pains and feeling quite nauseous every so often through out the day! So crazy that there’s something hopefully growing away in there!

My app says 6 weeks and 2 days but I think I'm 5 weeks and 2 days so I'm expecting mine to move. They tend not to move dates until 12 weeks as it's millimetres and could be so easy to be out by a few days.

How are you feeling?

OP posts:
Workinprogress90 · 14/01/2023 21:07

@FarmBaby3 tired a lot! And quite nauseous which I imagine is only going to get worse! Also hungry all the time so making the most of it and eating everything while I can! How are you doing?

when does it start to feel real?! Still feels crazy to think it’s happening!

FarmBaby3 · 14/01/2023 21:55

@Workinprogress90 I don't think it feels real until you can feel movement. I still wasn't fully convinced even by scans!

The more I eat, the less nauseous I feel.

Tentatively joining after a faint bfp this morning, this will be my 4th pregnancy with 3 misscarraiges previously, this time I’m under the recurrent mc clinic and taking progesterone and aspirin so praying that it makes a difference and this pregnancy has a positive outcome ❤️🌈

FarmBaby3 · 15/01/2023 09:55

Fingers crossed for you @MrsF111

Girls are your symptoms coming and going?
I constantly have a metallic taste in mouth and had a cold/blocked up nose since the day before bfp. 6 weeks tomorrow and nausea and sore boobs just comes and goes…
had a miscarriage so just very anxious

My nausea definitely is - it comes and goes throughout the day or different times on different days. My sore boobs have been fairly constant since it started but I would say varying in intensity - sometimes can only feel it if I actively feel for it and other times I can feel it just doing whatever I’m doing. I got the sore boobs quite late as well - after other symptoms had kicked in. I found a lot of comfort in reading in many sources that every pregnancy is so different in terms of symptoms so to try not to directly compare - I appreciate its much easier said than done though xx

Congrats ladies!
I got my BFP earlier this week and saying due date is 21 September. Already got a 14 month old daughter and i'm 40. In slight shock as it took ages last time and only a couple of months this time. I seem to remember morning sickness came on from 5 weeks. Already feeling nauseous but trying to balance my blood sugar.

I think I am going to have an early scan at 8 weeks (best time to see detect heart beat) and then get the NIPT test at 10 weeks and try to bypass the stress of the NHS combined test which had me as high risk last time and created a lot of worry.

We didn't find out gender last time but I think we will this time x

PPop · 15/01/2023 11:01

Hello!! Tomorrow I'm 5weeks! It's still sinking in... I worked my due date out to be around 18th September!
Since finding out so much poking and pulling inside me and my gosh I have got very loose bowels - very often! Isn't it all so sexy! 😂
Our first child so praying it all goes well!

FarmBaby3 · 15/01/2023 12:33

@PPop it's all so sexy 😂

@Loword some days are worse than others, sometimes I think it's gone and then a few hours later it hits me 🤣 everyone is different, in the same way for some morning sickness is just mornings I'm sure other symptoms will come and go at intervals which probably seem random but our body's won't be producing these hormones which cause the symptoms consistently and or constantly x

BeatAroundTheBush · 15/01/2023 14:05

Hey everyone, congratulations to all so far!

I'd love to join as just found out we're expecting our first baby. Have been TTC 18 months and were about to start private IVF so it's the best news!

NHS due date calculator says 17th Sept but I'm sure that will change 😊

Due September 2023
froglou · 15/01/2023 16:58

Has anyone taken/taking medication for nausea in pregnancy?
Last pregnancy I was actually vomiting properly, and while there's still time for that, this time I haven't been it's just been constantly feeling sick which is somehow more frustrating!
I'm reluctant to speak to the GP about it yet but wondered if anyone else had experience,

Marleym28 · 15/01/2023 17:34

Hi, not sure if my earlier post submitted! hope it’s ok to join,

Hi 👋 re maternity leggings I know of a small business that is meant to do the best maternity leggings about (endorsed by all the pregnant influencers).
It's called Beauty and the bump, you should just be able to find them on Google easy enough. They only recently branched into non maternity leggings and I bought a pair of those before finding out I was pregnant which I love, nice and supportive. I haven't actually tried the maternity ones but I will do this pregnancy.

Congratulations!
I think the CB shows the no of weeks since conception, where as when counting weeks its usually from date of last period so that sounds about right.
The tiredness is a big thing for me, it was the same last time.
Anyone else experiencing insomnia? I'm just randomly waking at night and can't get back to sleep. Hate it and then obviously its not helping with the tiredness
