I am 9dpo and just found out I am pregnant - very early but also very excited! Anyone else due in July?

@MendaciousMabel ohh I wish was like you. Food tastes absolutely disgusting at the moment. I know it's normal to have a metallic taste in early pregnancy but I would t describe my taste buds as metallic. I don't even know how to describe them. I'm just craving salty tangy stuff.
@elowheez I'm not sure but thanks for reminding I will ask doctors on Monday.
@thelma57 I'm getting the same at 4 weeks. I think it might be the embryo implanting.
@Omg2lines yes I was super nauseous yesterday, had a migraine and was sick! I've never had vomiting this early.

Congratulations to all! I'm getting a bit nervous and impatient. I want July to come already because my mind knows that the sickness weeks will be coming. I'm dreading them.

MendaciousMabel · 04/11/2022 21:30

Oh I'm sorry @heartbroken22! I definitely felt more nauseous at week 4 than I do now at week 5, no idea how that works, I panicked that my hormones were dropping so did a test and still very pregnant 😂 I'm anticipating sickness and nausea to kick in sometime soon. I hope you're back to enjoying food again soon.

thelma57 · 05/11/2022 08:30

Morning everyone! I’m 12 DPO now and 4 weeks +3, still testing every morning to see some kind of progression (which is silly I know!)

Thanks @heartbroken22 i hope so, I can’t feel it so much today! Hope you’re well! 💕

I told DH yesterday who is excited but also terrified! Told him we’re just taking it day by day!

Only symptoms are sore boobs and I’m so tired, but that could also be cos I’ve cut down my coffee to one cup from millions - anyone else the same?

I can’t wait for more symptoms, I just want this to progress and little embryo can mess with me
all they like 😂

CV1200 · 05/11/2022 09:22

Good morning ladies.

I'm 4 weeks +4 and this is my second baby.

So far I feel a little nauseous and have had tummy cramps since ovulation. I went to see the GP yesterday, who said everything seems normal. My DD is almost 7 so my brain is a little foggy trying to remember symptoms last time! Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Excited to be on this journey with you all! ❤️

CapricornOnTheCob · 05/11/2022 11:11

Good morning everyone,
I think I'm joining the July club, although it's all a bit hazy at the moment, lol. Congratulations to all here!

About me, this would be #3, with a very large gap between DD (16🙀) and DS (11). It wasn't expected, and it looks like we'll have to cancel what was supposed to be our first summer holiday in 2 in ages... It seems I'm 4w1d in, with a potential due date 16th of July. I'm still alternating between confusion and joy, but overall I'd be delighted to be on the July train.

Wishing everyone an easy first trimester! 🌻

EmmRach · 05/11/2022 12:36

Welcome and congratulations to our new teamies!!

Well.... what a farce last night was. I was trying to dodge bring found out on day two of being pregnant.
I used the antibiotics line but they definitely didn't believe me. But they didn't ask either. So that's good I suppose.
Didn't manage to sneak any fake alcoholic drinks as we all ended up at the bar together or it was table service everywhere 🙈
We went to a burger place, and I didn't realise.... But the burger turned up pink. I didn't know what to do. But I just rolled with it in the end. Not sure if that was the right call or not.
AND! Before we went out we had nibbles at theirs too and I just blindly ate a chorizo wrapped piece of cheese. Without even thinking!! It's all so new I'd not really considered not being able to eat certain things.
So what do we think? Doomed baby forever, or try not to worry?!

Laura. · 05/11/2022 14:29

Hi all

Can I please join? Congrats to you all 🥰
I'm currently 4+3 so early days. Had a miscarriage in July so I'm extremely nervous this time round. Have had lots of cramping and keep thinking my period is coming but so far so good and nice strong lines on my tests 🤞

X

thelma57 · 05/11/2022 14:53

Hi @Laura. we’re at exactly the same time along! I keep getting very mild cramps too so glad to hear I’m not alone!

I had a loss in December so praying this baby sticks as it is very much wanted and prayed for 💕

Laura. · 05/11/2022 15:03

@thelma57 thanks for your reassurance. Every twinge I'm panicking! Does that leave us due 12th July? One app it's saying 13th..
So sorry about your loss- it's so hard and makes the next pregnancy a really anxious time. Hope your doing ok 🥰

What vitamins is everyone taking at this stage? Pregnancare made me feel so ill last time so I've bought seven seas? Has anyone tried them?

I am taking the pregnacare max vitamins, however I do find they tastes like grass when I take them with water and i ain't the biggest fan so I'm having strong squash to help me cope

thelma57 · 05/11/2022 15:21

Thanks @Laura. yep I’ve got the 12th down, which would make them a Cancer as I’ve already checked 😂

I’m taking the pregnacare vitamins, I was taking inositol too to help with my cycles and pcos but not sure if I can keep taking it - does anyone know?

Also, I’m going to call my midwife services on Monday, is that right? I’m lost!

Laura. · 05/11/2022 15:49

@elowheez haha I actually thought the same!

@thelma57 yes I think so, I am really reluctant to ring anyone.. just incase.. thinking of waiting a bit later. I don't know what to do 🤯🤯

NatalieSF · 05/11/2022 16:04

Hey 👋 jumping on 🥰 Got my BFP yesterday at 9dpo. Baby number 4 due around july 18th..2 days after my daughters birthday🙈

How is everyone feeling?

elowheez · 05/11/2022 17:02

@NatalieSF congrats that's such great news!
I am going to be a FTM so feeling very nervous but also very excited! Only my partner and a couple close friends know as we want to tell our families at Christmas so at least having people talking on here makes me feel a bit less lonely at times :)

MendaciousMabel · 05/11/2022 17:39

@thelma57 I'm a cancer and was so excited when i realised baby will be one too. God help my other half with two of us in the house 😂

Felt awful most of today just so tired and out of it. Luckily I've been able to take it easy but we're moving house in a few weeks and there's so much to do. Forgot to take my pregnancy vitamin yesterday and feel horribly guilty now today.

Didn't sleep very well because I had incredibly vivid dreams and kept waking up drenched in sweat which is unlike me. What a bloody ride pregnancy is already 😂

thelma57 · 05/11/2022 17:43

Amazing @MendaciousMabel I’m a Sagittarius and DH is a Virgo so hopefully a Cancer will even us out 😂🤞

Sorry to hear you’ve not been feeling well! Make sure you’re taking care of yourself with the move! Have you had cramps at all? I’ve had mild ones all afternoon and even though everywhere says it’s fine I’m still stressing!

MendaciousMabel · 05/11/2022 17:50

Sounds like a good mix @thelma57 ☺️

Yeah I've been cramping loads today but it's all very mild and like you say it does seem to be normal but you can't help worry can you! I'm also really tired and just wish I could get a solid sleep, fingers crossed for tonight. DP is doing all the heavy lifting for moving, I'm doing all the admin 😂

inkworks273 · 05/11/2022 19:03

I've been pretty crampy today too. My period isn't due for another few days so it's a very nerve wracking time.

I took a weeks indicator test this morning and it came up 1-2 weeks so I'm still in the extremely early stages.

Stuck between wanting to be further along and also dreading the morning sickness 😬

gg9320 · 05/11/2022 19:12

I’ve also been getting mild cramps this eve - just about to tick over into week 5. Although to be honest can’t tell if that’s just gas or from my uterus 😅

Moonshine89 · 05/11/2022 20:30

Hi all!

Congrats to everyone!

Tentatively parking myself here. Got a positive Wed night at 8dpo, stronger lines yesterday (10dpo) and 1-2 weeks on a CB digi. Will test again tomorrow...period not due until Tuesday so I don't think I'll believe it until that's passed!!

Baby number 2 for me, my first is 7 months so busy times ahead 🥰

I took pregnacare max the last time but I might try the seven seas this time? I've been taking the seven seas trying for a baby the last 2 months and I took it when ttc my first as well. I still have 2 boxes left so I might just continue with that for now but I'll double check with gp next week.

Oh and due date is 20th July!!

Glawen · 05/11/2022 21:33

Hi ladies... really panicking, I jumped earlier to reach something and instantly thought "shit!".. now I have lower belly pains, same sort of period pain feeling that I've been having but haven't had them all day. I made the mistake of googling jumping in early pregnancy and the answer was really worrying. Help 😪

Restingpotato · 05/11/2022 23:41

@Glawen easier said than done but try not to worry, a jump shouldn't do anything bad. I lifted heavy weights and played fast, jumpy sports in early stages of 1st pregnancy and all was fine. Hope you get a good night sleep!

thelma57 · 06/11/2022 07:57

@Glawen bless you, please don’t worry, you’re advised to do gentle exercise throughout pregnancy, and I’m sure jumping is only a bad idea when you’re much further along. Google
is a blessing and a curse!

I had a bad night as my cramps felt so period like I was really worried, but they seem to have chilled now and I know it can be normal! Every little thing is so scary. We’re telling the in-laws today, I don’t have family close so we’re happy to tell them early for the support and we’ve had 3 family bereavements this year so everyone could do with some good news!

Is anyone else still testing? I have been to check progression and think I will until Tuesday as that’s the day after my period and will be 15 DPO, then I might leave it for a few weeks and then use my last digital. I’m obsessed!

Enjoy telling the in-laws today!!

I did a pregnancy test today and it was very strong so I’m going to throw the rest of away. I said my one last week was the last but I only have 2 weeks until my 7 week scan so not long. Anxiety is low today which is lovely!

no sickness yet which is great, but I seem to be almost constantly hungry but don’t fancy anything 🙄 quite fustrating. Apart from that just sore boobs and that’s it!!

how’s everyone doing?

PinkPink1 · 06/11/2022 09:32

I think I’m 6 weeks pregnant but my cycles are irregular. I’m still in shock after being told I couldn’t have dc naturally. We (DP and I) are in our mid 20s and haven’t told anyone yet. I don’t even know where to start. Do I see a dr? My boobs are so sensitive, some mornings I’m queasy, and sometimes I get a sudden sharp ache in my vagina but it stops. I’m being very cautious at the moment because it doesn’t feel real.

Also, we’re saving up for a deposit for a house but I think we’ll have to buy once the baby is a few months old.
