Morning Ladies,

I am 9dpo and just found out I am pregnant - very early but also very excited! Anyone else due in July?

Thanks all, I’ve tried to call but couldn’t get though, will try again tomorrow. It’s stopped now, probably was about 4 wipes in total so 🤞
I’ve been bawling my eyes out as it all felt like de ja vu! 😭
I’m staying in bed for the rest of the day watching crap tele to take my mind off it.

Hope everyone is doing okay 💕

bubble55 · 18/11/2022 17:00

Does anybody have heartburn/indigestion so early on? I had it with my first pregnancy but not until much later. I can’t decide whether I feel sick or if the indigestion is making me feel sick!

Scotti84 · 18/11/2022 17:48

@bubble55 ive had a bit but it seems to be ok if i eat regularly. Didn't hit me last time until the 3rd trimester!

@thelma57 sending positive thoughts x

Daniki · 18/11/2022 18:42

@thelma57 it is common in pregnancy so try and not worry yourself too much although easier said than done. Lie up and watch shit to is right and just rest yourself x

Daniki · 18/11/2022 18:42

I meant shit tv * 😂

Butterfliesandroses · 18/11/2022 19:59

@thelma57 my spotting this time (we saw a heartbeat yesterday) was pink and stopped later in the day. For reference, with my two previous miscarriages the bleeding didn't go away, it got gradually heavier. I know everyone is different but I was in your shoes two days ago so I wanted to take the time to share my experience in the hope that it helps you feel a little better.

@bubble55 this pregnancy I started getting heartburn before I even got a positive test! It's been relentless! With my daughter I think it was from late second trimester so this is definitely earlier!

Butterfliesandroses · 18/11/2022 20:02

@thelma57 oh and definitely contact the EPU tomorrow. It is so much better to know something than sit in that horrible limbo wondering and googling. Fingers crossed for you

Ldougal92 · 19/11/2022 06:47

I had my scan yesterday (my first pregnancy) I didn't realise the emotion that comes with it! I thought I was 6+5 but actually only 6 weeks as I ovulated a lot later than the "average" - seeing the heartbeat was such an incredible experience! Feels a lot more "real" now!

@thelma57 sorry, me again. I can't remember whether you said you'd had any previous losses but if you have NICE guidelines say you are eligible for progesterone treatment. My EPU didn't offer this to me but I knew about it so asked. They wrote me a prescription straight away. May be worth asking if relevant to you.

Lovely news @Ldougal92 , I agree the first scan is definitely super emotional x

rach971 · 19/11/2022 08:00

@Butterfliesandroses Sorry to jump in but I've heard so much about progesterone. What do they give it you for? Don't they do a blood test first to check you need it or?

bubble55 · 19/11/2022 08:29

I have a private scan later this morning. I’m so nervous 😬

Butterfliesandroses · 19/11/2022 09:05

@rach971 they gave it to me as per NICE recommendations. If you Google it the exact guideline comes up. They didn't do a blood test, no x

BabyGray · 19/11/2022 09:09

I've been brown spotting since Sunday and yesterday I had a massive bright red bleed so we went to a&e (only way to be seen by EPU straight away) had to wait 3 hours but got scanned, I'm measuring ahead of my IVF transfer now at 7+3. I have a blood sack next to my womb the consultant said and it's still got quite a bit of blood in there so a lot is going to come out. So scary but so relived baby is ok at the moment

heartbroken22 · 19/11/2022 09:22

How are people coping with nausea? Woke up feeling so sick and it's hurting my head. I don't think I ate well last night nor rested in bed hence the outcome this morning.

thelma57 · 19/11/2022 11:56

Thanks so much @Daniki and @Butterfliesandroses I had a bit more brown this morning when I wiped but it seems to have stopped now and no cramps at all. I’m moving my scan forward and hoping to go next week 🤞🤞🤞
I did have a loss at the end of last year so if the bleeding happens again I’ll 100% push for progesterone, thanks for the tip! 💕

bubble55 · 19/11/2022 12:33

Had my private scan all is well the heart was flashing so nicely! Feel a lot more reassured now 💕

MendaciousMabel · 19/11/2022 13:11

So glad all was good with your scan @bubble55 !!

we had ours this morning too, all looking good and saw baby’s heartbeat which was just lovely 🥰

Daniki · 19/11/2022 13:14

Great to hear ladies 🥰🥰

@thelma57 brown is ok so old blood, but I'd do the same and move the scan up to help with the anxiety x

EK81 · 19/11/2022 15:36

Hi ladies.
Im 6 weeks & 3 days (roughly) & have an nhs scan next Friday. This is due to a previous loss.
Ive been nauseous & sick over the last 3 days but today I’m fine! Appetite is lower but that’s it. Is that normal to happen? Do symptoms come & go at random?!
Pregnancy after loss is such a head muck up!x

Catherine1982 · 19/11/2022 18:47

I'm due 18th July. Found out last week and it is very early days.

Are you feeling the panic of having no control over how this turns out?

Scotti84 · 19/11/2022 18:51

@EK81 mine come and go all the time, its so worrying isnt it! I half feel relieved i feel ok, but then when i feel nauseaus i feel relieved that its back!

Good to hear your scan went well @bubble55

dunkedbiscuit · 19/11/2022 19:41

I've had no symptoms for days (after being pretty nauseous the week before) but today gave felt like cr*p lol so taking that as a good sign! I think it fluctuates so much in these early weeks

EK81 · 19/11/2022 20:23

Aw thanks everyone. Appreciate your replies. It definitely helps.xx

EK81 · 19/11/2022 20:24

@Catherine1982. Absolutely!!

thelma57 · 19/11/2022 20:32

Thanks @Daniki feeling a little better, my scan is on Friday so just hoping to make it to there! 🤞
Mostly nothing today, only had a little bit of brown spotting on a couple of occasions, hoping it’s totally gone by tomorrow!

Can I ask what everyone’s stomachs feel like? Every now and then I get like a pins and needles feeling! 🤷‍♀️
