Hiya ladies,
Thought I'd start the new thread, hope you like the title! Best I could come up with I'm afraid!

Gill79 · 28/11/2007 13:58

Hope you get the message through to him now Egg!

Gill79 · 28/11/2007 14:03

have you seen this thread leesmum? It's the I've got a giant pile thread Have been too scared to open the link from suzy wong in it but who knows maybe it might make yours seem less bad

leesmum · 28/11/2007 14:11

OOHHH there are some dirty buggars out there!!!

But mine aren't as bad as that honest

You should have seen Dp's face the other day when i told him he had to put cream on my arse cos i couldn't do it properly. He kept saying"do you really need me to do it?" i kept this going for ages until i couldn't keep from pissing myself with laughter!!( and dont get me started on my weak bladder)

LOVEMYMUM · 28/11/2007 14:34

Hi leesmum. (Have finally managed to stop laughing - sorry!)

I treated myself to a Clarins Pregnancy Body Treatment (back massage leaning forward, feet and lower leg massage, hand massage, bump massage (v gentle and quick), mini facial and scalp massage and the therapist recommended a massage oil for my lower legs and feet as they are swollen. I tried to rub in on myself and told her: "No good, i can't bend forward enough and DH doesn't like oils etc." I wonder if he would be better at pile cream (maybe, he's a Dr).

Thanks for your post - it's lighthearted and we need that now that some of us are going through a worrying time.

Jo9977 · 28/11/2007 15:47

Really thinking of you ladlemonke and miniandme - please, please keep us posted if you can. Loads of love coming your way. Hang in there all of you little ones!

xx

Jo9977 · 28/11/2007 15:49

How many just HAD to go to that link on piles???

Oh my goodness! and definitely not !!!

ladlemonke · 28/11/2007 15:49

Thank you thank you, you sweet and lovely ladies. Your messages are very warming and appreciated.

No change with wee twin, (apart from a bout of hiccups during scan this morning!) which translates as good news, so its a day by day approach from here. Fluid still good and both remaining active (they completely flipped positions from yesterday, temporarily confusing the sonographer!).

As many of you say, every day is a bonus + if nowt else it helps puts things in perspective. Things like that weightlifter pic LOL! Thanks Gill79 for puttin a smile on my chops, it puts my one wee lonely pile to shame - i'm happy to say!
Do you think that weightlifter tried to lift a wee bit too much that day, or is that an "old" injury???
While we're on the subject, anyone know what's safe to treat piles with while pregnant?

Wishing luck your way mini xxx

Also, thinking of all you fellow pile sufferers, you itchy girls, tired + worn out ones, those with bammy blood sugars, poorly kids, challenged bladders, lazy/unsympathetic/tight arsed DH's/DP's, and my hat is off to those considering taking up Arabic!

Bless you all with all your crossed bits!! xxx

widgetsmummy · 28/11/2007 16:04

gosh - sending lots of positive stay in womb thoughts to all those twins... desperately hope you are all ok.

had to come and post as a woman at work whilst in the loos just told me that you can really tell I'm pg now as I'm wider at the back! what on earth is that supposed to mean? needless to say she walked out and I stood looking at my bum in the mirror for 5 mins!

LOL - honestly the things people say!!!

LOVEMYMUM · 28/11/2007 16:05

Relieved about your news!

Will probably take up Arabic to avoid my kids talking and me not understanding. PK is rights - full of phlegm!

Jambuttie · 28/11/2007 16:06

Well im home with twins still insde.
got home about 4.30ish,thank goodness. The water we lost on monday looks like it was twin 1's hind waters,it has now refilled as we were scanned on tuesday morning and the fluid levels were back up to normal.
We were moved out of delivery room monday night at 7pm to high risk antenatal ward, then to normal antenatal ward about 3ish yesterday.
Had another set of steroids on board and had no more contractions or leakages of fluid which is all good.Am very aware though of strong BH's whenever im up moving about so gonna have to take it very very easy to keep these buns in the oven that little bit longer.
Once we pass 32 weeks they can be kept at our local hospital so thats my next goal-11 days away.
Tummy now measures 46cms,twin 1 weighs in at 3lb 7oz and twin 2 at 4lbs so absolutely fantastic weights for twins of this gestation.

Ladle- what cani say hun lets hoep your babies are as strong as my little monkeys and keep going strong in there as long as possible, hoepfully you will have had steroids on board for them and they can really make all the difference,as jambuttie says her twins were born at 29 weeks and are great little lads now,i see them every day as we are best mates and they have been inspiration.
Everytime something else happens with my 2 i look at jambutties 2 and know mines can make it even if they are that bit early.hers hoping yours will be the same .

And egg yes start kicking butts and get that rest before it becomes a neccesity like i have now!!!!!

LOVEMYMUM · 28/11/2007 17:45

Egg · 28/11/2007 19:42

Fab news mini that you are home. Logged on especially to check on progress of you and ladle. Such a scary time. Have told DH, he did lots of touching wood and stuff... They really are a great weight, which must be such a relief. Ladle, I really hope yours are getting big and strong too, and that both of you hang on in there for as long as possible.

I am going to sit down and eat pizza now .

Oh, and as for that link, OH MY GOD........

tyaca · 28/11/2007 19:46

ladle - gl gl gl. and hugs. and remind me never to drink that lothian water.

its true about putting everything in persepective.

hugs to mini too.

egg - enjoy the peace!

gill - cant believe you took photos of handiwork and sent to your bloke! but ever more than that, cant believe you TOLD ud

rozza and milk. sorry to hear you're itching so bad. my eczema def much worse since got pg and sometimes its all i can do not to take a hairbrush to my legs and srctacth them red-rawer! so painful! i reckon its at least 50% own fault tho' --- i've switched from filter coffee to daily lattes and am having cocoa each night to replace the vino. all that extra dairy is bound to make it much worse, but i'm in perma-treat-myself mode.

hope everyone's good. i am off to get head down and work thru next two weekends. then finish work mid December!!!

we are trying to juggle things and cope with a lot less money so i hopefully dont have to go back for a long long time. it just occured to me that i may never have another "its the weekend" type weekend for years. strange!

and -- final trivial bit of info. am so desperate for a night of hair down and getting bladdered that i fear BF really may not be an option. GAGGING to drink large amounts.
