natmatt... i know NB let you pay in installments, as long as the full amount is paid before the course starts

and if you host a course, you get a discount

I've been in and made some changes to the text sizes, Still don't know what's going on with lining it up.

I realise you charge for your services, I wasn't being funny, I have been uploading products, it takes ages, how you have the patience to do it for other people is beyond me. Am trying to fit it in between kids/husband/school run, and the odd bit of ironing.

Maybe i shouldn't be so sensitive, lol. Just i've never done anything like this before and i am quite pleased with it. I appreciate you were trying to help. Now I feel bad,

Oh thank goodness that's sorted. LL gives good.... (ignore temptation, ignore temptation) .... advice!

Don't you fret darling.... she'll make sure that your site is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

Must go and look at the changes. Oh and I completely agree with her about the order. One thing you can do is look at other doula sites for inspiration. Mine is www.mammydoula.co.uk. You can also ask for suggestions on the yahoo group.

Yes it's hard starting out but the more you do it the more you will get the self-belief that will help you bring more work in (how's that for a long unpunctuated sentence!)

liahgen · 10/10/2007 17:50

lol. It's difficult communicating on these places sometimes cos you can't see people's faces, and tis easy to take offence when none meant.

I don't know how to resize pics and dh no help, all i did was crop my pics.

(goes off to check out others)

kids never gonna get their dinner at this rate.

Or download Picasa, that'll resize stuff for you, I think.

MarsLady · 10/10/2007 17:59

(and so LL is drawn into the world of MN websites.............mwhahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

hunkermunker · 10/10/2007 17:59

Um, can I just say that LL had already offered to help me with my blog (which got deleted [indignant]) - I've started it again, elsewhere...

I am pregnant, extremely hormonal, not a professional web-person and naturally excitable, but I loved this website.

I'm genuinely sad now because I live in North Lancashire which would be just too far for you to come. Good luck in your doula-ing, I think you're going to be fab.

liahgen · 13/02/2008 22:36

Excitable, thank you so much.

I too, am generally excitable, hormonal, (although latest baby is now 9mths, lol)

I know, I wish I could be with all the women I meet, each and every birth is a true miracle.

I wish you a very happy, healthy 9 mths, and let me know when your little one puts in an appearance.
Lots of love. x

Hello I've looked at your website and think its great! I'm interested in becoming a doula but not too sure if theres a demand in my area as i live in South-West Wales. Some of the people i have mentioned it to said "a what?". I also thought it was a bit of a big commitmentas my youngest child 2 but yours is 9mths, i think thats great!!!
