I'm starting this early as I've just found out I'm due at the beginning of May!

I had a MMC earlier this summer, followed by a CP so it's been pretty miserable. This one was quite a surprise, as we weren't planning on trying again until 1-2 years from now... I have 2 DCs, aged 3 and 16 months.

I'm hopeful but scared - but trying to stay positive.

It's so hard to remember what you've said to which people! 🤣

Hanni1234 · 12/09/2020 11:11

Hello! I’d like to join the May club! Congrats to all you ladies!
I’m still in shock, got a positive test this morning, we have a 9 month old little boy and was not expecting to get pregnant so fast! I’m 4 weeks today, symptoms are completely different to last time, I’ve felt nauseous for the past few days, I barely had any last time. Due date 23rd May!
So excited!

Bea11 · 12/09/2020 18:28

@Hanni1234 Huge congratulations! I'm really similar and have been feeling nauseous early on this time round. It's strange how symptoms can differ so much with each pregnancy isn't it.

Jascarm · 13/09/2020 12:45

Hi ladies, I hope you're all doing well and congratulations to everyone who has joined recently 😁

I deffo feel hungover today which I didn't have with my last child but much prefer this to nausea lol.

I had an early scan last week but they said it's too early, so now I'm going to spend the next 2 weeks driving myself mad until the next scan!!

I have to go out next weekend (less than 6 people lol) and need an excuse to not drink. I think I'm going to go with the good old antibiotics line - does anyone else have any good suggestions?

DaringtoDream · 13/09/2020 17:53

Congratulations @Jascarm is anyone else insanely bloated? Im at 5+2 and look about 6 months 😱 with my first I barely had a bunp the whole way through, I work in a school and the kids were asking where I’d gone when I went on mat leave because nobody knew I was even pregnant. I’m 5ft 10 inch and size 8 but not at the minute! Getting abit concerned at this bloat!

Jascarm · 13/09/2020 21:22

@DaringtoDream lolol! Yes I'm very bloated atm too. My husband thinks I'm doing it on purpose 😂I was the same with my first, even at 6 months I could get away hiding it! Good thing is I can work from home still so no one will notice yet and I'm trying to keep it that way until we have our appraisals and fingers crossed a pay rise haha!

sunflower1988 · 16/09/2020 08:26

Hi, was wondering if I could ask you lovely ladies your opinion on my work based dilemma:
I teach in a special unit for children with severe behavioural/ mental health issues. The children can be violent and I've been punched and kicked in the stomach, spat at and have to restrain children. Also the children have attachment issues and could target me if they knew I was pregnant. I've got a meeting with my boss to discuss my risk assessment and I want to ask to be out of class based once I'm 12 weeks.
( end of Oct time)
Does that seem reasonable ?! Would be good to know what others think as I'm not telling my friends and family yet!
Thanks in advance and hope everyone's feeling well Smile

looloo247 · 16/09/2020 08:54

@sunflower1988 I think that sounds like a reasonable request - I can't see how they can minimise the risk enough for you to be in the classroom safely

sunflower1988 · 17/09/2020 15:42

Thanks @looloo247 thats what I thought!
Though I'm excited to be pregnant again after my MC its such a worrying time, wish I could just be excited instead of thinking I'm bleeding every 5 minutes...everyone must think I've got the runs the amount I'm in the loo Confused

Bramblecrumble · 17/09/2020 19:19

Hello everyone. I haven't taken a pregnancy test but have felt a bit periody since about day 10 of my cycle. And maybe a bit more emotional. I lost my diary where I track it but found it today and may be 5 days late... I don't track it very well but this weekend I'm going to buy a pregnancy test. We were not actively trying for a baby but we did stop contricption when dd was 1 as an if it happens would be okay.... but was wanting to wait a bit for a job promotion and getting fitter but..... I'd love another baby and i have worked out due date 17th of may. I'm getting ahead, I'll get the pregnancy test then either bow out or join the club.

Ducky96 · 18/09/2020 00:27

Hi all! Great to hear of everyone's positives! Sorry to those who have had past experience of losses and wishing you all the best for your new pregnancy.

We just found out last week we are pregnant after a late period. I am 5 weeks and 3 days. Due date working out at 18th may. We've got an early scan at 8 weeks. This is my first baby but my OH already has 2. I am very excited but feeling like I shouldn't get my Hope's up too much as it's still early?!

Looking forward to hearing about everyone's stories!

GrandTheftWalrus · 18/09/2020 16:40

Hi all can I join as well?

Found out today. Due 18th May all being well.

Had a mmc at 11 weeks in may. Only had 2 periods since my miscarriage so was rather shocked.

septembersurprise · 18/09/2020 19:38

Hello, can I join please?

Due date very end of May.

I've got a toddler but had two MMC before him, and one in June. Hopefully this one works out.

My last club had a Facebook group, has anyone setup one yet ?

UnicornPuff · 18/09/2020 21:06

Hi mind if I join?
My DH and myself have just completed our second round of IVF. Today was OTD at 11dp5dt and it was my first ever BFP!!!
The IVF due date calculator is putting my due date at the 26th and today I am 4 weeks 2 days and pretty shell shocked after many years of TTC!

We have our viability scan is book at pretty much 8 weeks and it feels a very long way away!

cd24x · 19/09/2020 10:52

Hi all, can I join please?

I got a very faint BFP on Monday at 10DPO. Followed by a much stronger line and a CB digital 1-2 weeks yesterday at 14DPO.

This is our first. Very excited and equally anxious about it all!

Due date is coming up as 29th May 2021 so 4 weeks exactly today. Have already contacted GP and have booking in with midwife on 12th October, followed by a private scan that weekend on 17th (when I'll be just over 8 weeks).

Elle3189 · 19/09/2020 14:56

Congrats to all the new mamas! Hope you're all feeling ok, I've been alright but feeling terrible today, so sick and tired 😷 I'll be 6 weeks on Monday x

DaringtoDream · 19/09/2020 15:11

Congratulations everyone! @Elle3189 I’m 6+2 today and I’m feeling crappy too. Constantly nauseous and starving simultaneously but there’s nothing I like the thought of eating except chips 🍟🙈 x

UnicornPuff · 19/09/2020 18:22

@Elle3189 and @DaringtoDream I wasn't really getting any cramps, but after my test yesterday I feel like AF is coming. All my googling tells me this can be completely normal. When you say cramps do you mean full on as if AF is about to start cramps?

Elle3189 · 20/09/2020 08:19

@UnicornPuff yes I had cramps around 4 weeks when I'd just found out, I remember I did when I was pregnant early on with my daughter too! They've settled now but I get twinges now and again x

MissingCoffeeandWine · 20/09/2020 08:20

Hi All,
Can I join? BFP yesterday. Think I’m 4-5 weeks (due around May 24th) but guessing based on clear blue digital and holidays :).

@Hanni1234 My LO is also just 9 months!

Feeling excited and nervous. Had a few MC’s before baba and hyperemisis last pregnancy. So currently in disbelief that I feel exhausted and nauseous but am not puking yet 🤞🤞

emma88P · 20/09/2020 13:30

Hey Ladies, how are we all? How's the Nausea, I'm suffering majorly! I'm 7+1 and basically can't move without almost vomiting! Xxx

Elle3189 · 20/09/2020 16:32

@emma88P my nausea is just kicking in at 6 weeks 😷 mine is actually better if I've got a full stomach so currently having to force feed myself knowing I'll feel better afterwards 😂x

emma88P · 20/09/2020 17:06

@Elle3189 I feel so deflated this time around the sickness won't leave and I feel it getting worse every day, I'm off to have another slice of toast! Xx

Elle3189 · 20/09/2020 18:19

@emma88P oh bless you! Do you have any other children? Apparently the symptoms can be worse after you've had your first baby, I'm def feeling that's true in my case 😫xx

Ducky96 · 21/09/2020 07:02

I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. Anyone else constantly hungry? Not had any sickness yet just feeling slightly nauseous. The last 2 days I have been crying at the most silly things and my OH told me to move out till I have the baby 😂 I am assuming he was joking..
Cramps have calmed down but constantly tired and struggling to sleep through the night. I work nightshift so I don't think that's helping either.
Hope everyone is feeling okay!
