Hi, I'm due 12th Nov 2020.

how is everyone coping in this isolation. Have you told friends and family yet??
We havent as I have had 2 previous losses so we are waiting but being in isolation is making it feel so lonely and nervous about appointments. I still haven't had my letters from the hospital about my scan/booking app. Has anyone else yet??

Thanks
Jen

@BelieveItCanHappen
Aw lovely! I saw some people say they didn’t at theirs and I’m really anxious so I hoped they would. Good to know about the sickness! I’m so bored of it now 😂 x

@Lulubon no 16 week appointment for me. They've been cancelled completely here! With my son 3 years ago I was told they don't routinely check though as can be difficult to find still. I got really upset when I found out as had been banking on it happening so the midwife did in the end but more to calm me than anything else. Sorry to hear you're still being sick. I hope it passes soon.

Hey everyone glad everyone is doing really well!! I'm having a face to face appointment for my 16 week appt next week. The midwife gave me the option as they lost all my booking in bloods so had to go back and have them done again 🙈🙈
Sickness still coming and going but definitely easier than it was thank goodness!!
@Snowboard14 still enjoying the odd nap lol even though it looks like I'm heading back to work in the next week or 2 so will have to find a quiet corner somewhere lol. Xx

@NatalieH2220 oh no! Sorry to hear you didn’t have a 16 week appointment. I find it baffling the difference in case across the country! Oh dear I would feel the same, I've still got extremely high levels of anxiety still- I thought they’d calm down after the 12 week scan but I’m just as anxious.

Hiya... I also didn't have a 16 week appointment at UCLH - I just had a very quick phone call from midwife who just asked if everything was ok and that was that. It is my first so I am disappointed that nothing is running as usual - dp not allowed to scans... no antenatal classes etc. meh! I just worry about feeling lonely during maternity leave as I'm obvs not meeting any mums to be!

Hi @Mn345678 I'm also under UCLH, had a brief call with the midwife, who's answer to every question I had was take painkillers 🤔
From what I've read from 28weeks it will be face to face appointments so hopefully it will be better then... ive found "the maternity collective" online are offering 2months free antenatal classes which are really good... hopefully some face to face classes will be available soon! X

@Snowboard14
I'm doing okay thank you! We found out the sex a few weeks ago... baby boy which we are over the moon about.
My sickness finally stopped at 17 weeks, though I still feel nauseous most days at nearly 19 😫
I am STILL ridiculously anxious. I'm not sure if anyone else has this but I often wake up feeling so anxious that something will go wrong- even though I've had multiple scans etc to say everything is perfect... I'm not sure whether to ask my midwife about it or if I will naturally go in time.
How's everyone else doing??? Xxx

@Snowboard14 I can’t believe how quick it’s going I’m 22 weeks tomorrow!
How have you managed to not buy anything- we’ve gone completely mad- not much left to buy 😂

@Lulubon I'm not sure!! haha I'm normally a bit of a control freak with organisation but for some reason this pregnancy is making me chill out a bit in that respect. we are also hoping to move house before baby comes so that is helping me not buy things... I do have lists... endless lists lol. One of my clients works for John Lewis in there nursery section so think in September we will book her as personal shopper there and hopefully get everything in one hit!! apparently its really good you have 2 hours and they talk you through everything you need....

how are you feeling???

I'm finally back to work and so tired again!! also suffering with Pelvic Girdle Pain, won't be seeing physio until 28weeks tho...

I'm still shocked we are all closer to the end than the beginning now... we have stayed team yellow, have you guys all found out what your having???

xx

Thats impressive! Also sounds like a good idea to hold off if you’re moving house. I’m finding it hard to know if I’m buying the right things or if I’m missing anything super important!

I’m feeling so much better over the last few weeks! Finally got a bit of energy back.
Have you had lots of movements? I’ve got an anterior placenta but I’ve felt movements since 16 weeks. Some are soooo strong now and he seems to kicks for hours some days! It’s been a problem at my scans because he doesn’t stay still!

Sorry to hear about the pelvic pain! So difficult especially when you’re working!

I couldn’t wait to find out the sex but hats off to you and anyone who can 😂
