Hi, I'm due 12th Nov 2020.

how is everyone coping in this isolation. Have you told friends and family yet??
We havent as I have had 2 previous losses so we are waiting but being in isolation is making it feel so lonely and nervous about appointments. I still haven't had my letters from the hospital about my scan/booking app. Has anyone else yet??

Thanks
Jen

Had the most horrible afternoon ladies. About 4pm I felt a bit wet down 'there' so went to the toilet to check and found s fair bit of fresh blood. Rang the midwife who said to go to a&e due to the blood even without any pain. Spent nearly 4 hours in the hospital having all sorts of checks and exams done. Blood taken, urine test done, internal exams, normal scan and internal scan. Baby is fine thankfully they advised I'm 10wks pregnant based on my period but baby measures about 5wks 6 days. Been told to rest and take it easy, going back to the hospital on the 27th for another scan to check on baby.

@snowboard14 I've bled a fair bit probably enough to fill a sanitary towel since about 4pm but apparently they're not concerned and I shouldn't be either. I am resting hubby won't let me do anything, poor guy sat in the car park waiting as he wasn't allowed in with me atall Sad. He didn't even go to the toilet the whole time so was busting by the time we got home again.

How long did you bleed for if you don't mind me asking? I'm glad everything is well with you and baby!

@Rundle90 was quiet alot, maybe 2 full pads with clots... I thought everything was over... went to a&e then went back to EPU the following morning and all was good...they couldn't see where it came from either... I carried on spotting for 2 weeks after but nothing heavy since... but I have been really lazy since... my partner wont let me do anything either. Bless him, its so hard on our partners isn't it.. they are missing out on it all... we havent done the deed either since as I think it was that... as I started that night 🙈 we are waiting till 12 weeks now...
Glad everything went well with the scan tho. Sounds like everything looked good for you... sp just rest up loads..

@magvdamme glad your scan went well... that's good they let you video call during it! I'm hoping they let me do that on monday when I have my booking and scan appointments as I turn to mush and never remember anything docs tell me 🙈

@magvdamme awww I'm so glad your scan went well! That's so sweet they let you do a video call!!

@snowboard14 oh wow quite alot then. It's super scary isn't it? Thank you for sharing your story though it does help, I'm being as lazy as I can, currently on the sofa with Disney + and my first cup of actual tea before I go on the decaf.

They really are, it's his first ever baby too so he's quite miffed that he's missing the appointments. He was really angry the a&e had me sitting on my own though, considering what it could have been he was really unhappy about that as in his eyes a woman shouldn't ever have to go through something like that on their own. Had no bleeding over night, had a little this morning when I got up but nothing close to yesterdays.

@rundle90 that's good, at least its easied up to a stop now... I know so scary I had to do the a&e thing alone too, but luckily they let him in for the scan in EPU... I just hope they let him in for the midwife and our dating scan.

Enjoy your day and take it easy xx

Hey @Rundle90 how are you today? With my last baby I had a hematoma. Its where the baby implanted in one part of my uterus then detached and implanted elsewhere. That caused a small tear in the lining of my uterus. I bled a lot at least once a week from week 7 to 18 when it healed up. Bleeding gradually got less over that time and as baby got bigger the rush got smaller. He is now a 19months. It was scary but turned out well for us. Lots of rest is the best thing, enjoy Disney x

@LayTheTableMabel morning, still s little bit of blood but mostly seems to be when I wipe. I am keeping an eye on it still if it gets worse I'll go back, not filled another pad yet so it seems to have slowed right down.

Oh wow naughty baby moving and scaring you! I'm glad baby is alright! It actually does help to hear other people's stories.

Sorry for the sad post guys but I need some time to heal physically and mentally. Take care everyone and all.of the best for your November babies. Much love to you all!

Thanks! That's good to hear that it's easing off. Did you get much? I've not had any sickness but nausea has been pretty bad. Haven't been able to stomach many foods over the last few weeks so I'm living on bread and crumpets! Is this your first?

@Snowboard14 not long to go until your scan now! Good luck! I bet there'll be a big difference between the 10 & 12 week scan. I had a private at 7 weeks, feels ages ago now.

My pregnancy is very similar to my first so far so I think it's another boy! My nausea started literally the same day along as my son. It went by 11 weeks last time so hoping that's the case this time too.
