Hi ladies, the old thread was nearly full so i have set this up for when the old one reaches 1000 posts:)

What an odd experience for you @MilsCookie but glad you saw a little blob with a heartbeat. Looks like they've done the measurement based on time from conception, rather than the convention of LMP. My little blob measured 6.2mm and they dated me as 6+4. It's amazing how less than a mm can make such a difference and I guess why less accurate than at 12 weeks.

Im booked for a scan at 6pm. Ive slight bleeding hopefully just spotting 😞😞

I've been throwing up again tonight with a bad headache. DH got home and I had a little cry. This pregnancy malarky is exhausting

Thank you everyone, all is good little heart beating away, i am slightly earlier than midwife anticipated 6+3.
Lady who scanned said all looks perfectly well and just implantation bleeding more than likely xx

It’s been a really hard few weeks, I lost my dad suddenly last weekend and on top of the shock and grieving I’ve been worried it may have impacted on the pregnancy. I booked in for an early private scan which was tonight and thankfully all was well and we saw the heartbeat. They dated me as 7+1 (1 day more than I thought from LMP). Feels such a relief hopefully this little one is a fighter and keeps getting stronger and as frustrating as the constant nausea is at least it’s reassuring that things are progressing

@Ashley136 I am so so sorry to hear about your dad passing away. I lost my dad 4 years ago and have just realised this little one is due almost on the day he passed. I had also only just had my daughter when he passed and was heavily pregnant when giving him end of life care so fully understand the stress and worry while pregnant 😘

The nausea has been horrific! I cannot shift it unless I eat. I also have the anti sickness bands on and as soon as I take them off I'm physically heaving.

Also I'm 7+2 but I'm massive! I'm really showing and my boobs have grown loads!! Okay granted I only have small boobs usually but I've gone through 2 full pregnancies and one MC just before 12 weeks qnd my chest has never grown this quickly ever!

Im so nervous I've been having bad cramps and just terrified of going toilet incase this little one ends in another MC 😭 xx

I had my last trip to the reproductive endocrinologist today - it's just the regular obstetrician from now on! They did another ultrasound and the twins are developing fine. Their hearts are beating properly fast and it's hard to believe their bodies are only one cm long when you hear that amplified noise going strong! Weirdly I haven't gained any weight at 7 weeks 3 days. I haven't been sick, just very nauseous now and then, and I've been giving into the cravings for chips and crisps! All the healthy stuff just kills my appetite...I don't even want to think about chicken or battered fish and I've got loads in my freezer. Ugh. I know I need healthy food but I don't want to look at it!

@rampantrose I’m interested about these anti sickness bands, I didn’t realise that kind of thing actually worked but you think it does a bit? Anything to stop feeling like I’m gonna vom every 5 seconds!! I didn’t really want to go down the medication route.

On a separate note my skin has become noticeably worse on my cheeks...I thought it was meant to look better in pregnancy! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤯

@Catlover10 I honestly doubted they would work! I can't take them off. Every time I do I feel horrific and am physically heaving. Getting harder trying to hide it from both DC's! They just think I've got some nasty bug! Hoping to keep quiet until Christmas 🤞

Honestly I would give them a go. I'm also taking the seven seas vitamins with ginger in they seem to help a tiny amount!

P. A loving the name! We have 5 cats due to DD age 4 being crazy cat lady 😻

Anyone got any tips for tooth ache?! Got an awful toothache keeps coming back on and off and as we aren't supposed to take any kind of pain killers that would actually work, I'm not sure what to do! Will get to dentist Monday but until then it's agony 😩 x

Those feeling sick who can't eat, friend recommended Lucozade to me. Might be worth trying. It works. I get nauseous which goes when I eat toast. Also quite partial to satsumas and raw carrots.

@Nuggetlover27 @MilsCookie @Bearytired I had a scan yesterday to see if the incident I had on Saturday night (getting knocked to the ground by brawling eejits) had any impact on baby. I was so relieved to see a heartbeat and baby is very much still on track at 8 weeks, due 11th June.

Its great to be on this journey with you girls because not telling my Sisters is the weirdest thing, especially as I think they know.

My advice for you all this weekend is to be really careful when out with drunk people. Taking the knock last week was so scary for My H and I. Its not worth it.

I'm 7+2 today and woken up with zero boob pain. My boobs have been so painful the last 2 weeks so I'm really frightened and just feel something is wrong 😢 I'm booking an appt at the EPU this morning but I wanted to know, has anyone else had this?

Hello everyone hope it's ok if I join. I'm 8+2 and due on 10th June. First baby so it's all very scary and new. The last few weeks have been tough as I didn't have the best start - was on holiday for the first three weeks, completely oblivious to the fact I was pregnant and eating what I fancied (luckily I'm not a big drinker so didn't have more than a couple) .. but managed to put on 2kgs on holiday bringing my bmi to the cusp of 30. I honestly feel so annoyed with myself. Weight has been an issue my whole life, I've always kept it just about in check but put on 2 stone in the last 2 years and I'm so irritated I haven't managed to get it back under control. desperate to sort it out but just too nauseous and wanting to eat nothing but savoury carbs (which is weird as I've always had a sweet tooth!)
So sorry to hear about the losses on here - life is hard, we go through so much as women .

I guess I've been lucky so far with regards to morning sickness as I haven't had any. Although I have heard that ginger flavoured boiled sweets do help. Maybe something to try?

@RPPs it's so hard not being able to tell people isn't it! Although not long to go until we can start spilling the beans hehe

@Catlover10 we are very similar, I am 26 and this is my 1st baby. I've been so tired this last couple of weeks. I hope your sickness eases soon

@MrsD20 I would love to know about this too. I have had boob pain nearly the whole time I've known about being pregnant but today I've woken up with none 😖 (8+1)

Amymaria2 you poor thing with toothache .. I get terrible headaches and the only thing which worked was liquid ibuprofen which is obvs off limits - causing me a great deal of anxiety! Anyway my dr gave me a codine prescription and they seem to knock the pain on the head - I live abroad so have to get a prescription but think you can buy over the counter in the UK - nothing else seems to touch the sides (certainly not paracetamol!)

@MrsD20 you are defo doing the right thing going to the EPU for reassurance. When I had a MM last year I remember saying to my DH how unfair it was that I still had all the symptoms, especailly sore boobs. A few days last week my boobs weren't very sore and I also panick but the pain is back with a vengance.

I have a little more pain in them now so may have been a little melodramatic but they're still not as sore as they have been so I'll still call at 9am.

@Nuggetlover27 isn't it so frightening, instantly you think the worst but it's probably nothing.

You have made me think about my boob pain and it's been there much for about a week or so now. I'm now panicking like mad. Have a private scan booked for a week on Sunday so going to reschedule for this Sunday. Let me know what the EPU say, please x

@ThatPossum thank you, I looked up about codeine but I read that you're not supposed to take that while pregnant either, will have to get to the dentist x

@MrsD20 good luck with the scan. For anyone worried about the lack of boob pain, I don’t really have any other than sensitive nipples, and I had a scan 2 days ago saying baby was ok and heart beating. The nausea is my main symptom, but I don’t think a lack of these symptoms is a particular worry so you should all be fine xx

@rampantrose I am definitely going to have a look into trying some bands then! Yes it is very hard hiding it from people (I’m not telling many people atm other than very close family) but surely my gagging at everything in sight is going to give it away soon 😂 I’m going to attempt to blend together a fruit smoothie for mornings since I can’t seem to be able to eat solid food until about 3pm ish earliest.

And how cute!! I am a crazy cat lady as well, current total is 6 cats
