Hi ladies, the old thread was nearly full so i have set this up for when the old one reaches 1000 posts:)

Hi @Alon789. I don't know about umbilical hernias at this stage, but my DS had one when he was born. It was pretty big for a few months, then completely resolved itself and I think most do.

Really freaking out now. Have felt so much better sickness-wise the past couple of days that I’m now fairly convinced I’ve lost the baby. I’m 10+1 and have two weeks until the scan! I can’t wait that long..... Can I do anything in the meantime?!

@PiafPilaf sorry you're feeling so worried, my sickness stopped completely at 10+5 I was so worried, but been sick once or twice since then and still have massive boobs & major insomnia, focus on any other symptoms you still have and just remember symptoms come and go, I'm sure everything's okay we are just crazy worriers. ❤️

@PiafPilaf I think the worry is completely normal. Mine eased off 2 weeks before my scan, scan was good, baby all fine, sickness is back with a vengeance now 😂

It's hard not to worry I know, but it's very normal

@PiafPilaf If it's of any help, I only have 3 minor symptoms and have done the whole way through! Not a jot of sickness at all! (I know I'm lucky) I had a scan last week at 10+1 and was in tears with sheer panic in the waiting room but scan showed healthy heartbeat thumping away! Even my symptoms come and go every day. You're going to be fine ☺️

@AmyMaria2 I'm sorry you're having crap sleep too! I am awake every bloody morning at about 3 til 5 and it's driving me nutty 😫 I'm also struggling with a terrible bloat, is anyone else? My poor DH 🙈

Hey ladies how are you doing? I'm 11weeks today. Haven't slept well in the past week or so. Kept on waking up in the middle of the night having to use the toilet.. restless from 4am..
I had a 10w+3 scan last Wednesday and baby was all great. Another 10 days to go until the 12wk scan - it's going to feel like forever.
Constantly checking my heartbeats (it's increased since 3 weeks ago) and trying to feel any stretchy pain because I believe it's a sign of baby growing (not much this weekend). Worry like a crazy person..

Not too sick anymore other than when I'm hungry. Can eat quite a lot and I'm trying to control a bit.

Ha panic over, I feel horrible again today!! Sorry so many people are sleeping badly - it makes everything else so much harder to deal with! @MrsD20 yes me too - I seem to blow up like a balloon after every bit of food!

God ive been in a rotten fettle for a few days now, everything annoys me, everything irritates me ,and I just cannot be bothered with people in general 🤦‍♀️ i have 0 energy & motivation. I dont even want to talk to people, i don't know maybe I'm just getting frustrated with this 1st trimester & not eating ans drinking like i normally would. Sorry for the rant, hope you're all feeling well

Hi all. Been struggling with sleep and headaches too. Just was brushing my teeth and a load of blood gushed out of me. Stopped quick but was scary! I won't even get a date for my next scan for at least a week so I've got a scary wait now. Midwife said it's probably nothing. Not sure whether to book a private scan, but if it is bad news I'd rather be somewhere supportive.

@peetieswie bleeding gums or elsewhere? Bleeding gums are very common. If you are bleeding elsewhere get onto your GP or A&E.

Hi all. Just went for my 12 week scan and saw the baby but sadly there was no heartbeat. It stopped growing two weeks ago. We are heartbroken but it obviously just wasn’t meant to be this time. Now I just have to wait for the miscarriage to happen. Wishing you all healthy pregnancies 💐 xxx

@MilsCookie unfortunately the exact same thing is happening to me aswell. Although I have had a couple of early scans where they haven't been sure but it hasn't looked good and now I'm sure that I am miscarrying, scan to confirm on Tuesday. Like you said I think it wasn't meant to be this time either. Take care ❤️

@Alon789 I was born with an umbilical hernia and it was fine. I had an operation when I was 5 or so. It has never been a problem.
My sibling was born with one that didn't require an operation.
Like they said it is a common thing that will probably be fixed naturally. Hope this helps!

@MilsCookie and @babysunshine I am so so sorry. Your positive attitude to this will get you through. Make sure to take the time you need to deal with this and recover. I was advised to stay close to home until it happened because you will want your jomw comforts when it does. Sending lots of warmth and hope it works perfectly next time.

Thankyou @RPPs I have been off work for a couple of weeks after first knowing something wasn't right so taking this week off too and then hopefully will feel better to go back to work 😊

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. I know it is really common and just one of those things but it doesn’t make it any easier. I am starting to have brown discharge now so I guess it is happening. Wishing you all lots of luck with your pregnancies 💖 xxx
