OMG twins.....totally unexpected.

Zoey92 · 14/11/2019 16:27

@RPPs im the same drinking doesnt even appeal to me at all im trying my best too though, I've always thought length between scans is too long

Cornishbumpkin · 14/11/2019 16:36

@Chaosonthehorizon OMG how do you feel?? Congratulations are they your first or do you have other children??

Cornishbumpkin · 14/11/2019 16:38

@Zoey92 have you ever tried Andrews? It's a powder you mix in water and always helps with my upset stomachs and bloating (pre pregnancy). From what I've read it's safe to use in pregnancy

Vio112 · 14/11/2019 16:43

I've suffered a miscarriage 😔 so I'm out. Wishing all of you happy healthy pregnancies. Sending lots of love 💕

Smiffette · 14/11/2019 16:44

@Vio112 so sorry to hear that, take care of yourself sending lots of virtual hugs

Chaosonthehorizon · 14/11/2019 16:49

Cornishbumpkin I feel fine not even sick anymore so assumed it was definitely just the one. These will be babies 3 and 4😱

RPPs · 14/11/2019 16:53

@vio112 Im so so sorry. I know how this feels and it's not what you want. Take alltge love you are given from your OH (if he's back) and your inlaws. It wasn't meant to be this time but the positive is that you can get pregnant. You might not feel like trying straight away and the Drs recommend waiting to your next full period which I did and it took over a year for me. But my friends who tried a week after the bleeding stopped, got pregnant instantly.

Take a few days off work Hon. Be good to each other and let it all out. Thanking of you.

Lemonysherbet · 14/11/2019 17:18

@Vio112 I'm so sorry to hear that, sending you all the love 💐

Cornishbumpkin · 14/11/2019 18:14

I'm so sorry for your loss @Vio112

@Chaosonthehorizon wow that's guna be a busy house! Have you joined the twins thread? Me and hubby and convinced were expecting two as my sickness has been so bad, another 3 1/2 weeks till scan though. Good luck! Do they know what type of twins yet?

Chaosonthehorizon · 14/11/2019 18:38

Vio112 I am so sorry, I hadn’t seen your post before posting my news. Big hugs xx

peetieswie · 14/11/2019 18:43

So sorry @vio112 Gutted for you.

I've been feeling super ill the last few days and then now suddenly feel more awake, less ill and breasts less tender. Starting to worry a bit.

Chaosonthehorizon · 14/11/2019 19:12

Cornishbumpkin no have missed that! Well I would appreciate some company on this journey 😉, they are identical

Zoey92 · 14/11/2019 19:12

So my bloating has worn off & replaced itself with horrific nausea we cant win ladies 🤦‍♀️

Cornishbumpkin · 14/11/2019 20:00

Oh @Zoey92 you poor thing have you found anything yet that helps your nausea?

@Chaosonthehorizon aww identicals are so amazing!! We won't find out till the scan but I'll let you know if our intuitions are correct lol

@peetieswie how far along are you, have seen a few post from people say symptoms disappearing and it being totally normal (wish my symptoms would disappear just for a day)

peetieswie · 14/11/2019 20:07

@cornishbumpkin I'm 8+2. I'm just not going to worry about it for now I think. I'll ask the midwife on weds. Boobs are still massive.

Zoey92 · 14/11/2019 20:15

@peetieswie im 8+4 and 2weeks ago my nausea & boobs completely stopped for a week & last week i had no nausea for 5days.....its back 🤦‍♀️

peetieswie · 14/11/2019 20:27

Thanks @zoey92. That's reassuring. Think I'm also a bit upset as my niece turned one today but she lives in Hong Kong and video chat wouldn't work from my workplace so I couldn't see her 😔 Excited to tell my brother but he hasn't replied to my requests to arrange a video chat at the weekend instead.

Has everyone told immediate family now?

Notnowokay · 14/11/2019 20:32

@Vio112 I'm very sorry for your loss Flowers. I'm also sorry for the hope I gave by telling you what my body does. I'm very sorry for your loss Flowers.

Cornishbumpkin · 14/11/2019 21:09

@peetieswie sounds like a tough day especially with the hormones making things worse! We've told all our immediate families because I cannot keep a secret and also we've told the people who we would want to tell if something did go wrong. Have you told anyone yet?

RPPs · 14/11/2019 21:27

Girls I've been feeling quite worried the lsst few days with symptoms coming and going. I'm 10 weeks todsy so I read the 10 week overview on the Mumsnet pregnancy page. It really reassured me and made me realise that all the symptoms and lack of is normal.

So delighted for you having twins. That's fab. They get to be besties and keep eachother company in there

MissisBee · 14/11/2019 21:35

@Vio112 so sorry to hear your news.

@Chaosonthehorizon, wow, twins! Congratulations!

I'm feeling so sick today, just about got through work and had to throw a sickie for Guides tonight, for the first time ever. I'm finding it much harder to drink than eat, so I've got headaches all the time from being dehydrated.
9+2

MrsD20 · 14/11/2019 22:30

Such sad news 😢 I'm so sorry @Vio112 look after yourself ❤️

AmyMaria2 · 14/11/2019 22:40

@Vio112 I'm so sorry❤️❤️

sarahlounich · 15/11/2019 07:58

So sorry @Vio112 for your loss 😔

I’m now 11 weeks according to my booking appointment yesterday (10+2according to an early scan we had) and desperate for the scan so we can get it out there! My nausea has been constant since week 5 so I’m also ready for this to subside. Midwife said by week 14 it should have so roll on the next 4 weeks 🤞 im the same @MissisBee drinking is hard work...I used to easily drink 3-4 litres a day and now I’m lucky if I can force 1.5 down 😬 sipping through a star has helped me for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️
