@Cornishbumpkin metoclopramide, dont get me wrong it's worked but I'm just that typical person to get side effects, I'm starting to feel nauseous now tbh 😒 I've been perfect all bloody day! All I'd love is a sunday roast or a chinese 😂 no chance of that happening anytime soon 🙄

Howie11 · 02/11/2019 15:23

Hi ladies @Cornishbumpkin @Zoey92
Just thought I'd say hi as I'm in the same boat. I'm 9+3 and having a really rough time. I feel so bad for not enjoying my pregnancy as I know how lucky I am to be pregnant.

I'm vomiting up to 10 times a day even though I'm on two lots of anti sickness. Not sure what else I can do really.

If you have any tips or advice that would be great xx

Cornishbumpkin · 02/11/2019 15:30

@Zoey92 you poor thing, I'm becoming envious of people that can eat without feeling sick, I was a real foodie until I found out I was pregnant 😩

@Howie11 bless you it sounds like your having a rough time. Haven't yet found anything that works, trying lucozade today as someone recommended it on the HG chat

Howie11 · 02/11/2019 15:42

@Cornishbumpkin I'll give that a go. Thank you. I hope you're feeling ok today x

Zoey92 · 02/11/2019 15:46

@howie11 ahhh no way I'm sorry you're suffering, i thought nausea was bad but being sick must be worse.

Ice pops are my best friend atm i do have to admit, try them if you havent, good way of getting fluid in me too 😂

Zoey92 · 02/11/2019 15:48

@Cornishbumpkin tell me about it, i have all these things in mind I'd like to eat but wouldnt dare attempt too, as i said to Howie11 m, Icepops are my go to atm

MsMiaWallace · 02/11/2019 16:25

Ahhh I've just seen in our local ASDA an excellent deal in the clearance aisle. They've got boxes of Tommie tippie newborn starter kits reduced to £7.50.
They're normally £15.
I was tempted to buy but keep thinking it's too early to buy.....

Cornishbumpkin · 02/11/2019 16:45

@MsMiaWallace thanks for the tip off, I keep wondering whether to make the most of deals when I see them, don't want to jinx it buying stuff too early.

@Zoey92 @Howie11 have been feeling particularly rough today, not been able to get out of bed, just realised that today is the first day I haven't worn the acupuncture bands, I've put them back on and now feel marginally better. Not sure if you girls have tried them??

Zoey92 · 02/11/2019 17:03

@Cornishbumpkin currently sitting with them on ☺️

Notnowokay · 03/11/2019 07:43

@Anny27, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Notnowokay · 03/11/2019 07:50

My nausea disappeared and I had a good night sleep which meant I woke up well rested. In my previous pregnancies my nausea only disappeared after a good vomit at the beginning of the second trimester. I haven't vomited. I'm also only 10+6. So is it possible that I entered the second trimester early? That date is the date early scan gave me (well to early scans). I'm actually supposed to be 7 to 8 weeks pregnant. O have my 12 weeks scan on the 18th November. Should I worry or is it normal to enter the second trimester early sometimes?

Zoey92 · 03/11/2019 09:47

Hows everyone feeling today so far x

Cornishbumpkin · 03/11/2019 10:19

Morning lovely ladies, feeling slightly better today than yesterday - I think the lucozade is helping @Zoey92 how are you today?
@Notnowokay I think the first trimester symptoms can start to go from around ten weeks, I read somewhere that some Drs think it's when you baby starts properly using the placenta. It could be that your even further along than 10 weeks.

Zoey92 · 03/11/2019 10:45

@Cornishbumpkin im just resting today had alot of cramping during the night but nothing im worried about, i managed some food last night so i do feel abit better today

MsMiaWallace · 03/11/2019 10:51

I'm on a 12-8 shift today.
Man I'm tired & felt very nauseous this morning!

I was going to tell my dad I'm pregnant last night at a bonfire gathering but they cancelled due to the weather.
I'm considering just telling him over the phone this afternoon?
Would this be disrespectful?

Cornishbumpkin · 03/11/2019 11:08

@MsMiaWallace try and take it easy at work, don't overdo it. We FaceTimed my father-in-law to tell him as we weren't going to see him soon enough and he would end up being the last person to know. I think it's perfectly fine to phone him.

Lemonysherbet · 03/11/2019 11:16

I was feeling good until I projectile vomited all.over the bathroom. Didn't have a clue it was coming, thank god I was in the bathroom.

Has anyone been to the doctors for sickness? I'm throwing up 1/2 times a day, not sure when to seek help or just ride it through

Zoey92 · 03/11/2019 11:28

@lemonysherbet i went for my nausea o couldnt bare it anymore

BudgieBird · 03/11/2019 12:06

So this is odd...for the past three days my nausea and exhaustion have completely vanished. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow. Obviously I'm grateful to no longer be feeling quite so rubbish but it seems strange; Thursday my HCG was 175,000 and with twins I figured I'd be feeling worse for a while, not better! Still have the slightly sore breasts and horrible wind though. And already showing! I want to wait another month before I say anything at work but people are going to figure it out on their own...

peetieswie · 03/11/2019 12:25

Hi ladies. Would like to join, but also not sure how you all keep up with all the messages! I'm not sure of dates as I came off pill and got pregnant within a few weeks but confident I'm due in June. Had severe cramping one night so went to a and e and then they booked me in for a scan where they found a baby in the right place but no heartbeat, but could have been because it was so early. Have another scan Thursday so that is make or break for me! Had lots of nausea but cramps seem to have stopped thankfully as were waking me up every night for a while. First pregnancy and we are both so nervous but excited, but I just want to see a heartbeat Thursday 🤞

AmyMaria2 · 03/11/2019 12:27

@BudgieBird my sickness seems to have disappeared as well, haven't been sick since Thursday morning, only had a private scan last week so just trying not to worry or over think it to much as can't have another scan yet x

AmyMaria2 · 03/11/2019 12:28

9+2 today, times going soo slow x

Catlover10 · 03/11/2019 12:58

@Cornishbumpkin I am always unable to work, I don’t understand how people are able to work while being pregnant?! I can just about make it out of her by about 12 if I force nyself. I can’t seem to eat until about 2 ish earliest. The nausea gets mildly better in the evenings which is when I do most of my eating and trying to get in as many calories/some nutrition in as possible. But I spend most of the day feeling tired and dragging myself about like a zombie and trying not to gag at the thought or sight of food!

Catlover10 · 03/11/2019 12:59

@Cornishbumpkin

I should really proof read my posts but I was typing in a nausea fuelled raging moment lol

*i am also unable to work

*make it out of bed

Zoey92 · 03/11/2019 13:06

Nausea is slowly making an appearance as day goes on 😞 i knew yesterday was too good to be true
