@mynameismrg I badly needed to finish I couldn’t handle it anymore. I was ill 24/7! I still am but at least I get to relax in bed until whenever I want now! Hope the 24th comes round quickly for you.

beth3735 · 09/07/2019 14:45

I’m pregnant with my 4th and I’m sure I can feel tiny flickers of movement. I’m 12 weeks and 2 days. I felt my son really early too. It’s definitely not a dodgy tummy as I’ve had many of them recently and this feels different 💕

DinoGreen · 09/07/2019 14:50

@beth3735 how exciting! With my ds I didn’t feel any movement until about 22/23 weeks (I had an anterior placenta). Hoping it will be earlier this time round as it’s such a nice feeling Smile

CatRash · 09/07/2019 14:54

@karryk Bleugh 🤮!!! I used to know someone who actually used to snack on raw sausages - they genuinely didn't realize they had raw meat in. I mean...HOW??!!!

I've been feeling movement for a few weeks now (currently 14+6) and it probably started around 11 weeks. I'm feeling it pretty regularly throughout the day. I forgot what a lovely feeling it is 😍 (in the early days at least 😂). It is my second though so recognise the feelings. I felt it at around 16 weeks with my first.

BowiesJumper · 09/07/2019 15:00

I thought I felt something a couple of weeks ago, but in hindsight I think it was wind! haha

beth3735 · 09/07/2019 15:00

Yeah my son was around 11 weeks too. It really is a nice feeling. Apart from since feeling more movements I’ve been needing to pee more frequent again. It’s a pain when I’m working 😂😂

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I'll join as soon as I get my 12wk blood test results (would feel like I'm tempting fate if I do it before then!). Thanks for adminning!

Kinsters · 09/07/2019 15:33

Just pm'd you Victoriaaaa!

I think I'm super aware of all the feelings in my stomach and desperately wanting to feel the baby but I'm pretty sure it's too early given its my first one (14+4).

poposaurus · 09/07/2019 16:18

I feel so far behind you all- only 11 +2 & not even had my 12 wk scan yet! Im literally wishing my life away at the moment to get further along!! xx

SleepingStandingUp · 09/07/2019 17:34

I think I've had a few flicks but anterior placenta AGAIN so will hardly feel anything AGAIN 😭😭😭😭

karryk · 09/07/2019 17:47

I keep thinking I feel something every now and then...sometimes it's a strange 'turning' feeling. I started to feel DD at 17 weeks and it started as a popping feeling, changed to a light tickle, then to good old kicks and thumps...usually at 3am Grin

Lollypop10 · 09/07/2019 18:19

@poposaurus i’m with you on this one. I’m only 10 weeks + 6 days. I’m so far behind everyone else. Making it drag more seeing everyone’s 12 week scans x

Morris26 · 09/07/2019 20:03

I'm only 11 weeks too Smile 12 week scan booked for the 15th, can't wait to hopefully be able to share the good news!

poposaurus · 09/07/2019 20:29

My scan is on Friday, Im so excited/ nervous! Really hope everythings ok! xx

CatRash · 09/07/2019 20:37

@SleepingStandingUp I hear you on the anterior placenta front as have a anterior placenta again. I was really hoping for prosterior this time too. Although I do seem hyper-aware of movements as it was difficult to monitor movements with my first so really had to tune in.

Ann334 · 09/07/2019 20:43

Just catching up now I’m back from my camping trip, so jealous of the beautiful bumps and scan pics! I
’m only 11 weeks today but still on annual leave until after my scan on the 16th so I feel like the pressures off for abit.
Camping wasn’t as bad as I was fretting at all! Lovely actually, apart from the lack of sleep. But was nice to wear tighter dresses and not hold in my stomach, kind of ham it up if you like 😛 pretty sure it’s a chips and pasty bump but it didn’t stop me doing the classic hand on belly/arched back pose down the beach in my maternity swim suit

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 09/07/2019 22:26

Does anyone here have good knowledge about standard ssp? I think I've been underpaid 🤔

OP posts:
DaisyMay25 · 10/07/2019 07:28

I'm 15 weeks today and haven't felt a thing! I think this is normal though?
Sometimes I think I feel something but it's just gas...

Got my gender scan in 10 days!!
Anyone else finding out soon?

@Victoriaaaaaaaa ssp is £94.25 a week (so low!) I got paid some last month

DinoGreen · 10/07/2019 07:49

surprised you only get SSP for pregnancy sickness @Victoriaaaaaaaa and @DaisyMay25! What kind of jobs do you have? Seems mean!

I’ve got my 12 week scan today, I’m super excited! Not feeling nervous really because we had an early scan at 10 weeks when everything looked fine. As long as my NT measurement looks ok, I’ll start telling people after the scan. I’m not back at work until Monday so will tell them then - that bit I’m not looking forward to - I work in a small team of 4 so one person’s absence is really felt, and to make matters worse I know that one of the others is also about to hand in his notice ... I’m praying I can get my news in first before he quits or it will be even more badly received.

DaisyMay25 · 10/07/2019 07:55

@DinoGreen I go company pay too, I think my work just do it strangely!

Good luck for your scan! At least you're giving them plenty of notice though!

Kinsters · 10/07/2019 08:00

Good luck for the scan Dino! You've definitely got in there first anyway, you made the baby months ago! I guess the immediate reaction will be less stressed if you get in front of him.

mynameisMrG · 10/07/2019 08:29

Picked up my toddler today and twisted and the muscles under my stomach are now throbbing. I need to remember I am pregnant and can’t just throw him up on to my hip anymore 😕🤦🏻‍♀️

DinoGreen · 10/07/2019 08:36

@mynameisMrG I feel your pain - my 15kg 3 year old always wants to be picked up and already I can only manage him for a few minutes. It makes me a little bit sad because by the time I can pick him up again, he probably won’t want to be 😢

SleepingStandingUp · 10/07/2019 08:51

@DinoGreen if he's going soon hopefully replacement will be in well before you leave. Will you not get maternity cover?

Feeling you all with the painful muscles. Lay funny in single bed last. Night as DS needed cuddled before he could go to sleep and now in agony down my right side rib cage, def muscular. I've had to take the pushchair to school even thho DS walks becasue I can't pull all his equipment in the trolley as normal
