@MoominMantra congrats!! Sorry our mad food chat was in full flow 😷🤐

So glad to hear all is well, I can imagine you're so relieved right now x

Ducky881 · 15/06/2019 14:16

Fivebyfive I think I'd feel quite irritated if someone at work asked me that question! Especially given your previous loss. I had a mmc last year, and am not planning on telling people at work that I'm pregnant for ages (apart from my boss) as I don't want loads of people knowing if I miscarry (people constantly asking me if I'm ok with sympathy in their eyes just makes me feel worse!). They should have waited for you to tell them..

DaisyMay25 · 15/06/2019 14:52

I feel a bit not in the know most of the time. I'm just reading my maternity notes and it says I've been referred for ANC, I'm assuming this is antenatal care? I have no idea what this is or what this means?
Sorry for sounding dumb. Has anybody else had this?

Bluebelltulip · 15/06/2019 15:15

@DaisyMay25 it will be antenatal clinic, so you will also have check ups with the hospital.

DaisyMay25 · 15/06/2019 15:20

@Bluebelltulip thank you! I hate not knowing stuff and still another 5 weeks til I see my midwife again

Mirana · 15/06/2019 15:30

@MoominMantra congrats!!! That must be the best feeling in the world 🤗

MoominMantra · 15/06/2019 17:26

Thanks everyone - I feel a bit reassured. Especially after those nightmares!

Mumof4andahalf · 15/06/2019 18:26

I can't stand the thought of anything fried or greasy 🤢 I'm loving yoghurt and fruit which makes me sound super healthy....I'm not!

TheOnlyMrsA · 15/06/2019 18:53

@Fivebyfive2 I was vomiting badly one day last week and a colleague who saw me rushing into the loos heard me and waited for me to see if I was ok which was lovely of her, but as she suspected I had a bug and started telling me about the general bugs going around I was like 'I'm pregnant' 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I'm sure the rest of the people I work with will know soon I'm struggling to hide it. I'm not as slim as you at a size 14 but I'm VERY tall so I look a lot slimmer then I am, but I'm suddenly hoarding weight on my tummy and my already large boobies are as if today in a 36G! 🤦🏻‍♀️

TheOnlyMrsA · 15/06/2019 19:00

Loved catching up on the thread!

Hope everyone who has been unwell today is feeling better by now!

Is anyone having specific food cravings or fancyings? If I don't get a five guys soon I may cry! It's been on my mind since day one but our nearest one is at least 30mins away. And I feel none sick today.

my midwifery booking in went well and today I took the plunge and made my first 'Maternity' purchase - some non wired maternity bras from Mothercare weighing in at a whopping 36G at only 8 weeks from a 32E 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ has anyone else bought maternity clothes yet?

TheOnlyMrsA · 15/06/2019 19:01

@MoominMantra congratulations!!!! So pleased for you! Xoxox

Ann334 · 15/06/2019 19:06

I bought a couple of bras and a swimsuit from h and m, it’s just super stretchy and doesn’t look particularly maternity. In the last 6 months I put on afew pounds so don’t have much wiggle room in my clothes so won’t be long before I get more. To be fair in the mornings I still look like my normal self but by the evening I’m a walrus.

TheOnlyMrsA · 15/06/2019 19:09

@Ann334 my mind literally said 'Coo coo coo Choo' when read I am a walrus! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

DaisyMay25 · 15/06/2019 19:11

@TheOnlyMrsA I've never had a five guys but I've heard great things!
I just want fruit, any kind as long it's cold from the fridge.
How are the bras? I really feel sorry for you larger breasted ladies!
I have a small frame so on go small ones (34B) but today I had to shove them into my bra so I'm thinking I may have to make the purchase soon too...

@MoominMantra glad your scan went well! How lovely you got to see your little one moving about too

Ann334 · 15/06/2019 19:26

Mine aren’t so comfy but we’re cheap and I normally wear really soft yoga bras anyway because I just hate the boulder holders! I really should have been measured because my back is clearly a lot broader than I thought 😳 worried I’ll get hella stretch marks if I don’t give myself the extra support though

Soph43 · 15/06/2019 19:45

I went to matalan for bras... since they keep changing size I’m not up for spending a fortune every month haha!
I have no craving I just can’t bear the smell of food cooking but I have nachos on there way! Cannot wait!!

I’m getting a tad annoyed that no where in my area sells maternity wear so I’ll need to travel to the city to try some bits on :(

NoMoreFastCars82 · 15/06/2019 20:20

@TheOnlyMrsA I've felt none sick today too 🎉

Had a blip after a quick Asda run for my toad in the hole, veg and mash (OH had no choice in dinner 😂😂) but otherwise great!

Eaten and even washed up 💪🏻

God I'm hoping I feel this good tomorrow!

I've got to ask, has anyone else a major hike in libido? I've read it can be normal lol

TheOnlyMrsA · 15/06/2019 20:27

@DaisyMay25 to be fair the bras are the best purchase ever, It was like clouds on my boobs. I really recommend the service in Mothercare tbh, they measured me into a bra that fit and supported well but had 5 sizes on the back for me to adjust and some give in the front too. I got two bras for £24 too so I happy as a pig in shit 😂

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm feeling the libido hike but I still feel too gross to actually have sex I haven't shaved my legs in 8 weeks because I get dizzy in the shower and feel sick lay in the bath 😂

NoMoreFastCars82 · 15/06/2019 20:34

@TheOnlyMrsA aww hunny!! I sat down in the shower earlier lol... was a lot easier to shave legs that way 👍🏻
I think my OH is loving it so far but eventually he will be like my god you're a whale, get off 😂😂

I too got some maternity bras the other day and have gone back to my normal bras as they're more comfy lol x
I'm a 34f normally anyway but have implants too so mine are like watermelons 😂😂
First thing OH said when he came in earlier (haven't seen him for a week) was 'size of those!!!' 🙄 I said hello to you too!! 🔨😂

DaisyMay25 · 15/06/2019 21:14

@TheOnlyMrsA that sounds amazing! I'll have to go check that out at the end of the month! Gotta enjoy the little things I think..

@NoMoreFastCars82 haha I bet he's happy! My husband mentioned mine are growing. Charming aren't they?

NoMoreFastCars82 · 15/06/2019 21:34

@DaisyMay25 they're just pervs hey!! 😂😂 mind you the way I am at the min I think he feels a bit manhandled lately 😂😂😂💪🏻

I'm loving how much better I've felt today..god I hope it's the same tomorrow x

MoominMantra · 15/06/2019 21:47

Glad I'm not the only one whose boobs keep changing! I bought some new bras only to find they've grown again 🙈

DinoGreen · 15/06/2019 21:54

My boobs are enormous. I’m a 34D normally and I’m still just about fitting into my bras but they hurt by the end of the day. Need to dig out the nice soft no underwire ones I bought last time round.

Women with libido hikes, I salute you! Mine has nose dived! Poor DH. I genuinely can’t bear the thought of sex right now.

mynameisMrG · 15/06/2019 22:01

I can’t bare the thought of sex right now either but I have been having some very vivid dirty dreams of late. Mainly about people I haven’t seen in ten+ years

Ann334 · 15/06/2019 22:09

I love a mystery sex dream 😂 always a man with no face 🤷🏼‍♀️
only happens in a really dry spell mind. Saying that I honestly don’t think I’ve had sex since conception, glad to hear things might perk up in a couple weeks
