Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

@Ducky881 I'm 5+5 and ivf and my symptoms are very on and off too. I think it's because our bodies aren't producing progesterone and that causes most of the symptoms

@Bentley111 it is a milestone! You've gotta celebrate them all!

@Seahawk80 cramps are completely normal but I understand the worry, my gp and the doctor at the EPU said they're nothing to worry about it's just everything adjusting but it doesn't help us googling does it? Haha

BowiesJumper · 06/05/2019 19:27

@Seehawk80 yes cramping is normal. Try not to worry too much!

BowiesJumper · 06/05/2019 19:31

@bentley111 I’m 4wks today too!
High five x

pinkstar01 · 06/05/2019 19:51

I'd like to join! Got my BFP for #2 after 18 months and I'm terrified that something will go wrong! EDD is June 15th but my first child was born 5.5 weeks early so I'm thinking this one won't make full term either 😅

MrsM18 · 06/05/2019 19:58

Congratulations @pinkstar01 - do you mean 15th Jan?

My DD was 6 weeks early, so hopefully our 2 behave 🙊😂 x

plipliop · 06/05/2019 20:02

DS2 was 2 weeks early and if that happens this time that will be CHRISTMAS DAY!

Seahawk80 · 06/05/2019 20:08

Thanks everyone- I remember I had them last time - plus lots of bleeding and all was ok so I'm just trying to stay chilled!

MrsM18 · 06/05/2019 20:08

@plipliop eeek! We'll definitely have some Christmas & new year babies 😱 x

Ducky881 · 06/05/2019 20:18

Thanks @DaisyMay25, it's reassuring to hear it's not just me. I had quite a lot going on yesterday with cramping/twinges/nausea and barely anything today. It's so hard to know what symptoms are caused by the meds and what's true symptoms in ivf pregnancies!

CatRash · 06/05/2019 20:44

I hoping I'm not early this time - I'd rather not have a Xmas baby just for the child's sake. I had pre-eclampsia with my first and was induced at 38+1 and she eventually arrived at 38+4. I'm hoping I won't get it again this time - I had conflicting information following my first - one midwife said it's more likely I'll get it and one said it's less likely so I don't know.

Will discuss it at my booking in appointment I suppose.

I'm also scared for my cervix as that tore during delivery too Confused

Seahawk80 · 06/05/2019 21:31

I think I'll have a new year baby as I'll 99% have a planned c section which is normally at 39 weeks. We had a May baby on our July thread before - she's just turned 2!

mynameisMrG · 06/05/2019 21:36

I think we will be December too. DS was three weeks early. My concern is that second babies are supposed to come quicker. From waters breaking to holding my DS was only three hours so I’m a bit concerned I’ll be giving birth in Tesco or something hideous with this one!

Bunnylover84 · 06/05/2019 22:37

Congratulations to all the new members!
I got my BFP 2 weeks ago tomorrow which feels like quite a milestone.
Ladies please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow...I finally get my 2nd blood test result after waiting since Friday. Had no spotting Saturday or Sunday but unfortunately it’s started again this eve with cramping so very eager to get these results now and find out what is going on...
Hope this is a good week for everyone!

mynameisMrG · 06/05/2019 22:52

Good luck @bunnylover, hoping it’s as positive as the first one. Keeping everything crossed 😊

Izabelus · 06/05/2019 22:53

@Bunnylover84 keeping my fingers crossed for you! Hopefully it's all good Smile

DaisyMay25 · 06/05/2019 23:55

@Bunnylover84 fingers crossed for tomorrow! Hopefully you've got some nice numbers, what was your last hcg level?

Bunnylover84 · 07/05/2019 00:01

@mynameisMrG and @Izabelus Thank you so much!
@daisymay25 Thanks so much, I hope so! Last amount was confirmed at 703 in the end, which was taken at 4 weeks 6 days.

mynameisMrG · 07/05/2019 07:00

5 weeks today 😊

plipliop · 07/05/2019 07:23

Me too Smile

Bentley111 · 07/05/2019 08:15

Keeping everything crossed for you @Bunny

Yay, another week down Grin @mynameisG @plipliop

McHelenz · 07/05/2019 08:44

I've just hit 4 weeks today too 😊. Im just aiming for week by week...I will feel better at 6 weeks...then 8 etc when the risks drop. I've woke up a bit anxious this morning 😔

MrsM18 · 07/05/2019 08:49

So according to LMP I am 5+1 but I know I ovulated late, so did a cheeky digital this morning (I've actually got POAS issues) - it confirmed that I'm definitely more 4+2 as per OPK!

DaisyMay25 · 07/05/2019 09:03

Any news yet @Bunnylover84 ?

DaisyMay25 · 07/05/2019 09:04

@MrsM18 that's great! They'll still use dates from LMP until 12 week scan, so lovely to see it in writing isn't it?

Seahawk80 · 07/05/2019 09:04

@Bunnylover84 good luck! I had a terrible time with DS in the first 12 weeks - bleeding in and off throughout. I thought I'd be more chilled this time but I'm just waiting for it all to happen again! I know it's such an anxious and frustrating time. My best advice is to try to read or watch something that holds your attention but that you know you like - I reread all the Harry Potter books during that time with DS, mainly in the hours and hours spent waiting in EPU Thanks
