Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

@DaisyMay Well anything like a cyst will no doubt show up on your scan- bet you can’t wait for it to come now. Be so amazing if you can see the heartbeat.
I’ve had a bit of a rough few days...Was feeling okay on Thurs when I saw the gp and that’s when she decided to do bloods this coming weds and see me Thursday... Then on Thursday night and Friday morning had really bad cramps again and more spotting. Rang the dr and they said to go get bloods that day and they would ring me that night with result if it came through. It obviously didn’t come through as I didn’t get the call so have to wait till Tuesday now- damn bank holiday! The good news is that I’ve had no spotting Sat or today, no pain yesterday and just a few cramps today, so fingers crossed bubba is hanging in there. Still have majorly sore boobs and feel exhausted so taking that as a sign and now I have clear discharge back again yesterday and today. Wonder if pain could be trapped wind and bad constipation? Who knows? Guess Tuesday will reveal more.
Hope everyone out there is hanging in there!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 05/05/2019 20:45

@Bunnylover84 I get really bad cramps with trapped wind

plipliop · 05/05/2019 20:58

I have such bad farts that DH and I had a bust up!
I lit candles and went outside to fart but apparently I have put him off his crisps.

I'm quite disgusted with myself.
However IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

plipliop · 05/05/2019 20:59

Sorry... wayyyy TMI.

Bunnylover84 · 05/05/2019 21:10

Thanks @victoriaaaaa
And @plipliop don’t apologise that cracked me up so much, which I really needed right now. Feeling a bit emosh this eve as hubby is away overnight.

Bunnylover84 · 05/05/2019 21:12

@plipliop also hope you’re okay and don’t be disgusted with yourself it totally is not your fault and DH should know that!!

plipliop · 05/05/2019 21:12

Just be grateful that you aren't anywhere near me!

BowiesJumper · 05/05/2019 21:32

@plippliop I’ve got really bad wind today too! Solidarity.

MissR23 · 05/05/2019 22:04

Hi ladies, hope it’s okay to join you all! I had my BFP last Sunday and am due roughly between 1st- 3rd January making me 5 weeks pregnant (ooo that still sounds weird to say!) This will be my second baby. Feeling excited but quite nervous, only me and OH know atm I think we will be waiting quite a while before telling people this time round but it’s hard to keep quiet isn’t it!

Avocuddles · 05/05/2019 22:41

Missmonkeypenny thanks for your sharing your BFP photos! As my cycle was so erratic I don't really know my exact dates, my clear blue said 1-2 wks but might be more, I'm not sure? Started having minor cramps / feeling super hormonal back on Wednesday (just like PMT symptoms!) then got this result on Friday. How early on did others with more certainty around their dates start feeling these kind of symptoms?

MrsH497 · 05/05/2019 23:11

@Avocuddles 1-2 weeks is since conception so you're probably 3-4 weeks. I'm approaching 5 weeks and still have mild cramps not even really as much as period pains. Oh and utterly exhausted! Congratulations!!

Tittie · 05/05/2019 23:51

Hello to all the newcomers and congratulations!

Is anyone having any symptoms yet? I know it's early days but I find it strange that I don't have any! With my first I felt sick quite early on, my boobs were big and a different colour, and I had a disgusting metallic taste way before testing positive. This time I just feel a bit bloated and chunky Grin

plipliop · 06/05/2019 07:10

@BowiesJumper thanks!

Everyday, I wake up absolutely starving hungry. I think it's all the wild dreaming at night!

Seahawk80 · 06/05/2019 07:24

Hi everyone please can I join? Just found out I'm expecting baby no 2 around 5th January! I have PCOS so my cycles are quite random and after 8 months of trying my rule is only test 2 days after AF due. I was fully expecting the usual blank white BFN and at least to know not to get my hopes up so I'm in a bit of shock! We also had a v half hearted try this cycle as I didn't want to be in the first trimester for our holiday in June (just selfishly it's our only holiday abroad this year and I didn't want to feel a bit rubbish) but obviously I'm still delighted!

DS is 2 in July and very very lively so
I'm going to have my hands full. I had a terrible time in the first 12 weeks with DS, lots of bleeding and trips to hospital and then terrible 12 week scan results and a cvs (all was fine in the end) so I'm hoping things are a bit smoother this time around!

Congratulations to everyone x

McHelenz · 06/05/2019 08:02

I am still testing. And I still can't believe it.

plipliop · 06/05/2019 08:14

@Seahawk80 when I had DS2, DS1 was 2.3. I spent a lot of time worrying about having a newborn and toddler (DS1 was lively too). It wasn't as hard as I thought! Second borns are normally a bit easier and get used to being put down more out of necessity Grin

Seahawk80 · 06/05/2019 08:23

Thanks @plipliop I think baby 2 will have to be v chilled out! DS was the dreamiest newborn but from about 5 months stopped sleeping and from 7 months was just into everything! My friend said I should set up a business taking him to peoples houses / child friendly businesses to show them what babyproofing they have missed!

CatRash · 06/05/2019 08:31

Congratulations @Seahawk80. My DD will be 2 in July too - you weren't in the July 2017 antenatal group were you? I'm sure I recognise your username!!

Glittergirl2 · 06/05/2019 08:57

Congratulations @Seahawk80 you're same EDD as me Smile x

Avocuddles · 06/05/2019 09:03

Congratulations @seahawk80 !

What symptoms are people having and how early did they start? This is my first pregnancy so it's all a bit of a mystery at the moment - I've read everything going but not sure anything truly prepares for the reality of that moment when you realise what is going on inside of you!

Seahawk80 · 06/05/2019 09:04

@CatRash hi!! Yes I was - I remember you, pretty sure we're in the same Facebook group too! How are you feeling. I'm ok so far but have a terrible cold and cough, that's what made me think I might be, immune system is clearly suffering.

Seahawk80 · 06/05/2019 09:06

@Avocuddles with DS I remember my first symptom was sore boobs, as I'm so irregular and we'd been trying for ages I hadn't tested, I'd also had scans that month for pcos so thought they would have seen something if I was pregnant. I remember having sore boobs which I never get before AF so I tested and I was about 6 weeks! This time I don't have that but have a really bad cold and a few cramps and have been really over emotional about a few things.

MrsH497 · 06/05/2019 09:48

@Avocuddles same here first baby first pregnancy all seems surreal and I have no idea what is going on in there! How far along are you? X

Avocuddles · 06/05/2019 10:04

@MrsH497 I had a very long and irregular cycle (and was under the impression I wasn't going to be able to conceive naturally) so not entirely certain how far along I am but I'd estimate 4 weeks based on clearblue test and the fact that I had a negative test around 10 days previously. How far along are you?
Only real symptom I've had is a fairly constant dull ache / crampy feeling for about five days now, plus slightly tender and achey boobs and general hormonal moods, all of which are very similar to PMT!
I'm a bit nervous about what's going to happen to my boobs as they are huge to start with, it'll be agony if they get much bigger and I'm already feeling uncomfortable in a normal underwired bra. Thank god for the long weekend and the ability to slouch around in a wireless crop top and trackies!

Glittergirl2 · 06/05/2019 10:07

Same here @Avocuddles this is my first pregnancy feel like I have no idea what's going on. The day before I was due on I felt really sick, last week I had really sore boobs and cramps and as of yesterday only slightly tender boobs and tiredness but nothing else. I'm 5+2 x
